1) Definitely should not be combined with full book, except as a temporary measure to move over ratings/shelvings/reviews when necessary.
2) Not sure about the NAB issue. I see both sides. I guess one question is whether anyone is going to deliberately shelve/rate/review these? I would think not.

I think people would, actually -- I know I've picked up some "preview of whatever" things that I'd want to talk about and remember for later ("this looked really interesting from X angle, but I worry that they're going to go with Y", that kind of thing).
It seems analogous to the way Kindle sometimes publishes short stories alone; in fact, I know a few cases where novels grew out of short stories and those short stories were later republished alone as tie-ins!
If people really are using them, then I think they should stay. But I recommend Librarian's Notes and also some sort of note at the beginning of the summary.

Okay, I'll do that for the two I know of and anymore that I see.

Thanks for reminding me. The original descriptions were not descriptions at all, but reviews. I forgot to go back and put in a real description for them. They are done now.
