RandomAnthony | 14536 comments I think the fact that the NY Times published a "primer on drawing "about rediscovering the lost skill and singular pleasure of drawing" very cool:

I can't draw for poop. Jackie can, I've seen her birds, and they're awesome. But if you're rushing around or too used to the keyboard give this a try. I might.

Mona Garg (k1721m) | 350 comments I can't draw either. Hubby supposedly can but never does.

In India, drawing is an actual subject in the lower grades. I'm so glad that's not the case here. I would have failed miserably.

smetchie | 4034 comments I can't draw. I end up feeling physically challenged when I try. I can't even copy something. Both my parents draw very well. My 6-year-old daughter already draws better than me. She has to copy but, still.

Phoenix (phoenixapb) | 1619 comments I love all things art related. Being creative keeps me sane...mostly. I haven't drawn very much in a past few years and I miss doing it. Guess it's time to drag out the good old sketch book and get crackin.

I saw this blog and it does sound very interesting. I'm going to try to remember to read his follow up posts and actually take the time to do some of his recommendations. I do draw sometimes. It's one of those things, like baking bread, or knitting, or making anything with your hands, that relieves stress by fulfilling creative impulses. Making things just makes you feel good.

Jackie "the Librarian" | 8991 comments I like to draw, but I have to have a model. I can't make stuff up out of my head. I don't tend to take the time to do it much.

I can combine things that weren't originally together, though, like have a squirrel hold a candy cane, instead of a nut, for my nefarious Christmas card purposes.

smetchie | 4034 comments I tried to make a spider out of bendaroos today. It was pathetic.

Bunny are you fucking with me or have you played with bendaroos before? Because they are genius!

smetchie | 4034 comments We should post pics of our drawings. I've got a "frog" somewhere that would make you pee your pants laughing.

RandomAnthony | 14536 comments I'm getting bendaroos next time I'm at Michael's. We could start a virtual bendaroos gallery.
