i think the new bad guy is clary's REAL brother you know the guy that pretended to be sebastien??? well the shadowhunters that went to look for him in the valley that jace had stabbed him in and they said that he wasnt there so i think he's the new bad guy!!!!! :)

Hey Cassandra!,
Ok so this has been a dying question inside of me. Why oh why did Will have to die? Couldn't he be like immortal somehow Magnus could have done his blue magic fiery stuff spell on him and him and Tessa could have lived happily ever after forever and ever and ever? And maybe even Tessa didn't have to be immortal she could have aged! And why did she have to end up with Jem at the end? I mean I absolutely love you and adore you as an author your my fave at number one but I really just hate Jem he rubs me the wrong way! And it's like isn't it kind of not fair to Jem that Tessa will never really love him the way she loved Will and Jem will just always be the second choice? And it's almost like with everything Will and Tessa went through to be together even though they did marry and have kids Tessa just somehow decided let me date my husband the love of my life the dead love of my life his best friend because that makes sense Tessa! I mean I love her character and all but I don't understand how she could have been with Jem having already been with Will and not feel weird about it. I mean that's just how I see it. Maybe you see it differently. I don't mean to sound brutal but I hope Jem gets kicked to the curve in City of Heavenly Fire! I really do, i'm absolutely awful that way. Oh and Jace! ahhhh!!!! I need more Jace! I can not get enough! I also have a question on City of Heavenly Fire cuz i'm confused. When is the actual cover release date? And last question can we please have more snippets i'm dying from the anticipation! Sorry this is so wrong I just really love you and your writing! Let's not forget Jace and Will? Can't forget about how much we especially I love them;)

I think that if Magnus was really able to make Will immortal, he would have if he had asked. But Magnus, as an immortal, doesn't wish it on anyone. I believe it's mentioned in The Mortal Instruments how lonely and awful immortality is. And through out the entire Infernal Devices series, Tessa struggled between her love of Will and Jem. She truly loved them both. However, her love for Jem was proven first, so she was engaged. Because of the "curse" on Will, he couldn't let Tessa know his feelings for her or allow her to return them, so he pushed her away. As you know, he learned the truth too late. And dear Tessa was faithful to Jem. On his deathbed, Jem basically granted Will permission to be with her, who else would take care of her better? Although she was heartbroken by Jem, she loved Will and married him, etc. Sadly, Nephilim cannot live forever, and I bet if Ms Clare could have made an exception, she would have. Or not. She does like to make us suffer. But because Will had gone, for years, she was able to go back to her other love. I like Will as much as the next guy, but I've also had a soft spot for Jem. But honestly, no matter who she ended up with, we should be glad that she continued to find true love.
