I want to say that I read somewhere that warlocks choose when they stop aging (which I guess makes sense because Magnus had to age some to get where he is now), but I can't remember how old he is. I'll have to look it up for you :).

Cassandra i really enjoyed your books, i loved the humor, and just had a lot of fun with them, so thank you... i hope city of fallen angels will be translated to spanish like the rest of the series was (it easier for me to read in my own language).
Don't the Vampire and Warlocks both get to choose when they stop aging?.. I thought I read that Camille had done that, but my mind might be playing tricks on me... I'm rereading all the books because I feel like I missed a lot... :(

There were aspects of it that I didn't like, but it was overall not too terrible.

Haha. I've had those before. My most recent one involved a plot to kidnap and clone Damon from The Vampire Diaries...it was ridiculous fun :).
heyyy cassandra i just wanna ask if there are automatons and cool, magical devices in Clockwork Angel why is Will and all the Shadowhunters riding horses and carriages? I know it's the 1800 but, these people have powers and abilities normal people don't have.
I have a question that not necessarily just Ms. Clare can answer...There's a part, somewhere--I think it's the first book--where Simon's wearing a shirt with a chicken with headphones, or something.
Clary says, "I know what your shirt means."
And Simon says, "No you don't, you're a good girl."
Or something along those lines. It's from my memory, so it's probably not perfect...
My question is, what is the shirt? Is it a real shirt, somewhere? Or is it something randomly made up?

I don't think he is. Carstairs wasn't mentioned in TMI, but Cassandra Clare did mention something about creating a family tree when the series was over.

I also wanted to say I love your books. I've read them each at least 5 times.
My question was about the clockwork angel. I have a theory about Will. I think that something happened in his past with a demon. Maybe the demon threatened Will's parents and anyone else he loves or will love that's why he didn't want to see his parents when they came to see him at the institute. And also thats why he pulls away from Tessa. Just a theory... I just wanted to get it out there.

shes in the epilogue, i think it was magnus who was talking to her at the party... pg. 525. (I had to look it up) although her name wasn't mentioned in the book, Cassandra made a comment on her site about it.

If the first part of your question was because you were confused about people referring to different series. TMI = The Mortal Instruments. MI = Mortal Instruments. Different people refer to them different ways. It's the same with The Infernal Devices series. TID = The Infernal Devices. ID = Infernal Devices.
