I love your books but im comused which one is TMI & which one is MI and also do we know if Tessa actualy is a warlock or is she somethin else?"

If the first part of your question was because you were confused about people referring to different series. TMI = The Mortal Instruments. MI = Mortal Instruments. Different people refer to them different ways. It's the same with The Infernal Devices series. TID = The Infernal Devices. ID = Infernal Devices.

Hope that answers your question

You're welcome, Bella :).

I want to say that I read somewhere that warlocks choose when they stop aging (which I guess makes sense because Magnus had to age some to get where he is now), but I can't remember how old he is. I'll have to look it up for you :).

Laika Hello, I just wanted to say that you're a really really great author. I interviewed you in Austin, Texas at the BookPeople, and I really enjoy your books.

message 1106: by Mayra (new)

Mayra (MayraM) | 2 comments Cassandra i really enjoyed your books, i loved the humor, and just had a lot of fun with them, so thank you... i hope city of fallen angels will be translated to spanish like the rest of the series was (it easier for me to read in my own language).

message 1107: by Karen (new)

Karen Reid (3karen3) | 4 comments Don't the Vampire and Warlocks both get to choose when they stop aging?.. I thought I read that Camille had done that, but my mind might be playing tricks on me... I'm rereading all the books because I feel like I missed a lot... :(

message 1108: by [deleted user] (new)

Yeah, that's what I wast thinking, but I couldn't remember for sure.

So do you think Clare is not a Shadow Hunter because of her special ability to make runes?... and what about her being immortal too.. do you think she doesnt know whether or not she can stop aging at any time?

message 1110: by [deleted user] (new)

Wait, I'm confused. Do you mean Clary?

I think she's a Shadow Hunter, or will be one day.

There were aspects of it that I didn't like, but it was overall not too terrible.

message 1122: by Abby (new)

Abby (ravensfly) | 47 comments I'm glad that you liked some of them. I do tend to get carried away sometimes. like my friend and i the other day were talking about puppies and somehow we ended up talking about pudding? :) i don't have a clue of how it ended up there but it did!!!! :) lol

message 1123: by [deleted user] (new)

Puppies . . . pudding. I can see the resemblance :P.

message 1124: by Abby (new)

Abby (ravensfly) | 47 comments yeah. i think we asked if dogs could eat chocolate. and then one of asked if dogs could eat pudding. but it was like a 30 minute convo.

message 1125: by [deleted user] (new)

Haha. I've had those before. My most recent one involved a plot to kidnap and clone Damon from The Vampire Diaries...it was ridiculous fun :).

message 1128: by Iyah (new)

Iyah (missgoodreads) | 1 comments heyyy cassandra i just wanna ask if there are automatons and cool, magical devices in Clockwork Angel why is Will and all the Shadowhunters riding horses and carriages? I know it's the 1800 but, these people have powers and abilities normal people don't have.

message 1129: by Micaela (new)

Micaela | 4 comments I have a question that not necessarily just Ms. Clare can answer...
There's a part, somewhere--I think it's the first book--where Simon's wearing a shirt with a chicken with headphones, or something.
Clary says, "I know what your shirt means."
And Simon says, "No you don't, you're a good girl."
Or something along those lines. It's from my memory, so it's probably not perfect...

My question is, what is the shirt? Is it a real shirt, somewhere? Or is it something randomly made up?
Thanks guys. :)

Haha, it makes sense now. :)
Thanks!

message 1132: by [deleted user] (new)

You're welcome :).

message 1133: by Madeline (new)

Madeline not that i can think of. i didnt recognize his last name. but who knows?

message 1134: by [deleted user] (new)

I don't think he is. Carstairs wasn't mentioned in TMI, but Cassandra Clare did mention something about creating a family tree when the series was over.

Emy Caraway (emycaraway) | 5 comments Joe wrote: "hi cassandra. i am a 12 year old boy and i really loved the mortal instruments series. is there a set date that city of fallen angels will come out"

Joe! there is defiantly a date! That's one of the marvelous things about this website! It's April 5th 2011. If you want proof just go to the search bubble and type in "City of Fallen Angels" and click on the first choice, then look under the summary of the book and it will say- date published- that's were all books have it for future reference! Hope you enjoy the book:)

message 1136: by [deleted user] (new)

HI Cassandra...

Just a question about yourself... do you go by a nickname like Sandra or Cassie? Just curious.

I also wanted to say I love your books. I've read them each at least 5 times.

My question was about the clockwork angel. I have a theory about Will. I think that something happened in his past with a demon. Maybe the demon threatened Will's parents and anyone else he loves or will love that's why he didn't want to see his parents when they came to see him at the institute. And also thats why he pulls away from Tessa. Just a theory... I just wanted to get it out there.

Thanks for being so creative and giving me the chance to read your books. I can't wait for more;-)

I know she was in the Epilogue for City Of Glass. I wanted to know if I can expect her to be in City of Fellen Angels.

shes in the epilogue, i think it was magnus who was talking to her at the party... pg. 525. (I had to look it up) although her name wasn't mentioned in the book, Cassandra made a comment on her site about it.
