I don't have a Kindle either. But that doesn't stop me from picking up all those free books for the Kindle app on my iPod and tablet.

I've had A Long Way Gone on my wishlist for a long time, so I was happy to finally have an excuse to buy it!Day After Night is in the first half of my list, so it will probably be 3-4 months until I get that far.
I've also just redeemed some Audible credits and picked up Spider Light, The Things That Keep Us Here, This Perfect World and Eutopia: A Novel of Terrible Optimism - I'm going to try and start listening to audiobooks on my commute when I go back to work - my motion sickness makes it too hard to read on the train anymore :(
Kat, hope the audio books work out. Commuting is a perfect time to get in some reading/listening.

I think I would really like that bookstore too!!! Nice purchase Shanan : ) We have a LUBS here but I don't visit there often...she is a bit more expensive than the ones I shopped at when I lived in TN : ( So, I often pick up books at the library sales and at Goodwill : )

Great haul Judy! I must get acquainted with the used bookstore here. And then, maybe there's a good reason why I drive right on by everyday or I'd be working to pay for my purchases.

This bookstore sounds like a great find. You'll have to make a detour on all your errands to go by this place on a regular basis. What fun!

I know...it is a shame, and then the ones that they do have are older and very small (often with a step to enter) and impossible for me to even get in. Sometimes there are stands set up outside the stores but the really good books are usually inside.

I've never been to the Seaport branch nor the new location. But I remember the old one. Used to spend hours and hours in there. :)

Praya, yes!!! You can easily spend the day wandering around in there.
The first week of 2012 has almost passed and I can't let that happen without buying a book. I'll be ordering later today. Kat, I tried...but just can't do it!

I am supposed to be on a book-buying ban too. I said I wasn't going to buy anymore until I started reading what I got. But a couple of days ago while I was waiting on my son I went to the Goodwill and picked up these:
I also got a bonus prize in one of the books. After I got home and was putting them away I found a book of forever stamps lol.
