I was lucky enough to snag a copy of the legit movie poster. They were giving them away the second time I went to go see Hp Part 2 with my brother.

I'm trying to plaster my walls, 'cause they're still this ugly blue color I liked when I was six. There's tons of stuff on them.
At the bottom I put team Gale and team Peeta and all my friends signed Peeta! Lol... Except for one person........

Okay, so I just watched the trailer and I am newly pumped for this movie! I think I'll even be okay with Liam as Gale based on his bits in the trailer.
Yay! I got a Mockingjay pin! I made a Katniss Everdeen with it!
I am decorating for the movie even though it does'nt come out till March! Her head is kinda small...

The wait is killing me. I am really really excited to watch The HUnger Games. Can't take my eyes off of the trailer :))
I am currently trying to convince my parents to let me go to the midnight premiere. unfortunately, its on a school morning. so, basically, im screwed.
I can't wait for the movie. I had my doubts at first, back when the movie was announced, but pictures and footage prove that the movie will most likely be decent work.
I felt that same way, Frank. And hopefully I can convince my dad to let me go at midnight.
Hopefully, this will be a movie that lives up to the standards of the book. I'm not so sure about liam hemsworth as gale though....
Did anyone get their tickets yet? They went on sale yesterday and all. I got three to the midnight premiere for my mom and brother and me.

There is a topic of this book club called the 2nd annual hunger games, then go on a subheading under that called the reaping and create a tribute!
Guys, so apparently a new TV spot for the movie aired today, and I haven't seen it, but apparently the bread scene is highlighted in it. Jennifer and Josh are playing themselves in the scene, but it looks as if they've been aged down for the scene.

The movie was great. A 4-star movie. I saw the midnight premiere.
Ughhh your so lucky! I wanted to go so bad but the tickets were sold out! But my teacher took my class on a field trip and it was really good. I thought for aP-G 13 movie there could have been a little more violence. The part when Rue dies was so sad :( I can't wait to go see it again! And own it! I would watch it EVERY day!
At my school, the 8th graders are reading the Hunger Games as their class book. So they all went on a field trip to go see it. I was so jealous!
I was blown away by how good it was. I really was. I knew it would be good, but THIS? This is amazing. I especially loved every bit with Haymitch, and how they made Seneca Crane into a main character.
Contrary to what most people seem to think, I was actually disappointed by it. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great. They changed a lot, like the bit with the Mockingjay pin, and I didn't feel that Rue and Katniss's relationship was fully developed. Also, the camerawork was all over the place, especially in the fight scenes. You could hardly tell what was happening!I would give it 2.5 stars/5. The acting was good, espicially Jennifer Lawrence/Katniss.
I agree with all your coments but i still think it was a great movie although, yes, it definitly could of been improved alot.

Haymitch, Seneca, Ceasar and Katniss were all exceptional.
If it was rated MA I, along with a large percentage of the audience, wouldn't be allowed in the cinema, so I don't think that would work very well. I agree, it needed to be more violent.

The movie was made for all those who have read the books not for those who haven't. For them it would have dragged a lot and they wouldn't understand the depth and emotion of the Rue/Katniss, Gale/Katniss relationships. They would not understand how much the bread Peeta tossed to Katniss was worth. We did not see the fights. And the movie did not even fill the void left by the book by showing the deaths of the lame guy from 10 and Thrush. The movie was good but they could have shown much much more.
There were a bunch of things that would not have made sense not having read the books. They never even mentioned Effie's name.Overall I liked it, but there were some things that could have been better.
My favourite line is after the interview, when Haymitch says "Nice dress" to Katniss, then turns to Effie and says "not you".

i feel like some scenes were a bit rushed,like when Katniss met Rue,though i know that this is a movie,it can't entirely be like the book.
but other than that,and some other tiny things,the movie was awesome :)
i also liked the part where Effie said
"THAT IS MAHOGANY!" haha

lol Kyle. I was disappointed with the movie it was very fast-paced. It needed to be slowed down and described much better. I went to the midnight premiere with my mom. (My mom was tired and she didn't read the book) Throughout the whole movie she kept on asking what is this and what is that. After 10 questions I had to tell her to be quiet and I'll answer her questions later.
That showed how the movie wasn't very descriptive to viewers who hadn't read the books before. I think the books were more well done than the movie itself.

I disagree with some of the stuff about 'made for those who read the books'. Incorrect. It was a good movie in its own right. Two of the people I went with understood most of it (making assumptions about the salute etc..), and loved it. You dont need to read the books to understand.
I thought it was great! They changed a few minor details but they stayed pretty close to the book.
