On a side note, is anyone opposed to the idea of putting all official casting in bold?
Thanks for the update Jordan!
(sounds like a great idea to me as well)
When will we get a Haymitch? He's the one im most excited to see. And Cinna, I want to see him as well.
Im still intent on RDJ. No one else will do.
However, I haven't a clue as to who I want as Cinna

Heck, Johnny Depp could be Katniss and I would be happy.
I don't know.

He could still be Haymitch though. This guy, however, well I'll be good and not get a full-out opinion yet, but I'm doubtful

No, sorry: Johnny Depp, awesome as he is, does not belong in this movie. Not in any role.
aaaand, Ive been mulling it over...John Riely MIGHT be able to pull off Haymitch. MAYBE.
At least hes a lot better-in my opinion-then other namse Ive seen thrown up. CoughRussel BrandCough

Looks like its serious...Im starting to warm to him, actually.
At first I didnt like him because of his reputation in 'crude' comedies (i.e Step Brothers & Talladega Nights), and also since hes not RObert Downey Junior.
However, he could do justice to the roll, as soon as we forget about RDJ & Hugh Laurie.

I think it does. *looks up* "She has fire-red hair, amber eyes and sharp, fox-like features. Foxface also is smaller ..."
I hope they choose someone good and sneaky for Foxface!!!! :)

Ya. Is the movie gonna be all three books in one or separate?
And I hate Josh Hutcherson for Peeta! Peeta has blond hair right? So they have to dye it. AND his smile is weird!
Yes, its just the first book being made into a film, so far.
And Josh isnt the best choice, but not the worst, either. It doesnt matter if his smile is weird. Thats got nothing do do with the casting...

Ya. Dosnt Katniss kinda like Peeta?

Well at first Katniss is liking him then she doesn't... and not just in front of the cameras.(I think)

You should definitely finish reading Catching Fire and Mockingjay. You don't want spoilers. *Jedi hand movement*

We only get the books from Katniss' perspective, and I feel like she sees herself differently than others see her. In The Hunger Games, she has to pretend to like Peeta for the cameras, to save their lives. She doesn't ask herself whether she actually likes him, she just does it to survive, like she always does. He already likes her. Catching Fire and Mockingjay deal with the huge question "Was it all just an act?" Maybe it started out that way, but you can definitely see a difference from Hunger Games to Mockingjay.
TLDR? Finish the series. It'll be clear. :)

Yippee!! I finished Catching Fire. I can't wait to read Mockingjay... But im waiting for it from my library. Im number 30!!!! NOOOOOO. Hahaha. The ending was kinda confusing. I get she was the "mockingjay" or whatever, but what was the point that they were trying to keep Katiniss alive? And why did they not finish the Hunger Games and took the rest of the tributes out. I skimmed the las like 5 pages. But the ending is sad.... So can someone elpain the ending to me???

"
Most of that will be explained in Mockingjay. It was supposed to be one of those kind of "Wait, what?!" moments. Don't worry, you're not the only one. :)
Yeah, the boy tribute does look like Spock. I love the fact that they actually look young, meaning it won't all be Alex Pettyfer-esque boys (he's the first one that comes to mind). I also love that they're not casting huge names. Ian seems to be a complete unknown, and Kalia has an uncredited role and played a stunt double a few times. Anybody remember if the D3 tributes were important to the story? I think I'll pull out my nook and check.
Believe it or not, I'm actually getting excited. I have hope for this movie again. :D
EDIT: I believe the boy from D3 was responsible for setting up the mines around the Career's camp.
