My Favourite... 1. Time of Day:
Late at night, or early morning, but really, any time i get some time to relax, read, or just chill with music.
2. Food:
hmm. Junk food, lol. Italian food, e.g. pasta, some Asian food, anything that involves potatoes or sweet potatoes. Crispy or crunchy things. Roast dinners.
3. Drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic):
Ice cold water, soft drink, Mountain due coke, apple juice, Tea.
4. Band/singer:
Oldie Aussie bands, e.g. dragon, cold chisel, crowded house, Sherbert. Lots more but can’t think of more just now. Delta goodrem, John Farnham, John Williamson, Lee Kernaghan, Sarah Storer, Geoffrey gurrumul yunupingu. Christian music, older stuff e.g. hhillsong 80’s/90/s, Amy Grant, Chris Tomlin, Third day, (loads more), Clif Richard, Celine Dion, Mariah Kerry (older stuff), eighties in general. I could go on and on, but i’ll quit.
5. Actor:
Hmm don’t really know. Being blind I don’t think I have a favourite actor, but i love the old musicals.
6. Spot in Australia:
Love the bush land around Glen Innes Nsw, but then I enjoy anywhere that’s peaceful and quiet with running water or birds etc.
7. Team/Sport:
Not in to sports at all.
8. Car:
Don’t have a favourite car. Would love to ride in a self driving car, as long as there is someone sighted at the wheel just in case lol.
9. Animal:
I love all animals. Have had horses, pet rats, cats Birds, and of course dogs. WE have 2 dogs. a Chihuahua x Chinese crested, and my yellow lab Abby who is a guide dog. My mum has a grass parrot. he is cute. I Love them to bits.
10. Activity
Reading, both in audio and braille, Chatting to friends, Technology related stuff, learning, researching, Knitting, loom knitting, general crafting, music, listening and creating.
11. Things to collect
I wouldn’t know where to put a collection, but if i had the space, I would love to collect. Stuffed animals, music boxes, wind chimes. Anything that feels interesting.

I love the Glenn Innes area too! It has been so sad to see the area hit by fires.

This is a bad year for anyone who values recreational travel, I think we are all in withdrawal.

I had tix to the Rammstein stadium tour in Germany. In fact, I would have been there now! Fingers crossed for next year.

It's so satisfying getting to the top and seeing the stunning views. It's a bit cold just now though and i don't do it in the snow!

My Favourite...1. Time of Day: Whenever I get alone time to unwind so usually early morning or late night
2. Food: My go-to is usually lasagne, but I also love all kinds of pastries
3. Drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic): Pretty much any drink with crushed ice. Hot chocolate is good too
4. Band/singer: Don't really listen to music. I have favourite songs from time to time. I guess my go-to would be Panic at the Disco
5. Actor: Julianne Moore, Gillian Anderson etc.
6. Spot in Australia: Outside - at a quiet beach or somewhere quiet near moving water e.g. a park with a fountain. Inside - library.
7. Team/Sport: Not a big sports fan. I like watching ice skating and swimming on occasion

9. Animal: Cat, but I like animals in general.
10. Activity: Playing video games, doing jigsaw puzzles, crafts
11. Things to collect: I don't collect things because I worry I'll end up with a problem haha

They are marine fish who have evolved a couple of features that make them able to live on land, breathing air. They typically live in the intertidal zones in burrows, but you can see them on mud flats at low tide leaping in little hops/skips across the flats.
They have rigid gill arches that mean they can still move their gills in the air (unlike most fishes) and their pectoral fins are forward and under their bodies so they can use them kind of like 'feet' to propel them into a hop.
They are all over the world, I think mostly in tropical zones though, and if you go to north QLD and can find any mud flats that have not been 'developed' into concrete you can see them. I used to love watching them on the Esplanade at Cairns.

Scotland is wonderful and Edinburgh is one of my favourite cities in the world. It looks like travel between Australia and the UK, and vice versa, will be back to normal next year so you may not have long to wait. Edinburgh is also the home of several prominent writers like Val McDermid, Ian Rankin, and Alexander McCall Smith. Try and go during the annual festival in August - the atmosphere is fantastic!

Scotland is indeed wonderful. We've been there with a rental car in May 2019. Unforgettable!

11. Things to collect: Jigsaw Puzzles. I actually used to be a huge hoarder (not the goat track type) until bushfires took our house a couple of years ago, now I try not to go down the same track. I USED to collect Paperweights, anything with Acorns, Foxes and Cats on, anything that took my fancy to be honest. Hint: don't volunteer in a charity shop if you tend to hoarding tendencies :)
My favorite time of day is the morning when we walk our German shepherd dog and watch Orion's Belt in the sky and wild rabbits in front of some neighbor's houses.Food: no meat, mostly Vegetarian, sometimes chicken or turkey, favorite chocolates come from Belgiumn and I can only get them when we are on a Europe trip: Guylan Sea Shells and Côte d'or milk chocolate.
Drink: water, sometimes green tea, never coffee. No alcohol.

Things to collect: I regret til this day that I gave my ca. 40 beautiful puzzles collection away to children in Hamburg, Germany, who lived in the same house (I had collected puzzles from British and French castles). This was right before I immigrated to the US in early 2002. I was not aware that Ravensburger and MB no longer created beautiful puzzle motives. All off a sudden they were replaced by those terrible kitschy paintings by Thomas Kincade. In any case they no longer offered photos of castles in France and England as puzzles.
I collect beautiful small wooden boxes like those from Boxology.
