Thanks Gail - I've always wanted to know those tags.Eventful day today - my novella Vision or Delusion went live on Amazon.com Kindle. And people have started to buy. Magic.
http://nymag.com/daily/entertainment/... For fans of Cassandra Clare's bestseller City of Bones, everyone was saying Alex Pettyfer would be cast as Jace in the movie. He has recently been in talks with the producers, and shockingly declined the offer.

Way to go Laura.I'll have a beer to help you celebrate.
Hahaha..Yes, I think a beer or 2 is in order! Enjoying a 5am Saint from Brew Dog currently :D I just hope my friend likes the drawing. I'll share it once I know she's happy with it.@Gail- Perfect op to drink a brew...hehehe
Carmel, how are you going in your area with the flooding? Just looked up VicRoads flood advice site, and you have some roads closed in and around Bendigo. We are going across the top from Wagga to Mildura, and at the moment, no mention of the Sturt H/Way, but one of the road closures is from Robinvale to Ouyen. We will go right by Robinvale...Calder H/way is closed in places. Hopefully things will be better by the middle of next week...:(
I'm worried..I read in the paper this morning about QLD and the possiblities of it flooding more because they have two hurricanes on the way and could be much worse than what they've already experienced..I really hope it doesn't happen :(

Yes, we don't leave till Wednesday, and have just looked at the weather for next week, and 40 for Wagga and Mildura on the days we'll be there..:( eek!!!!!
Thanks, but don't worry about looking, I can keep up with it on the website. You've got enough to do with your job!

G'day laura, they are actually cyclones & are headed for us in the far north, the 2nd one the weather blokes are still not sure which way it will go, all in all, a normal wet/cyclone season for us up here.

Oh dear...stay safe! I just came here to say there is a horrifying movie on SBS right now.
Its a Spanish film called 'The Orphange'. Right now the intensity is building. Its not a typical American blood and gore horror film. Its smart and creepy and suspenseful.
But adds ruin it :(

Oops! Sorry, I get them mixed up >_<;; Well overal I still hope you keep safe all all :)
Don't take that from David, just slap him around Laura. We know you had his best wishes at heart. When or if the cyclone hits, he is not going to be concerned about what it is called.

Mmm... Just your description reminded me of that film 'Pan's Labyrinth'. That was a brilliant film, poignant and spooky, by Spanish director Guillermo Del Toro.
Yeah, it was very familiar to that. Del Toro is good friends with the director, and produced the film. By the way, I gave up on that film with 1 hour left to go. Way to scary for me. *shudder*

Sounds good. I don't usually watch that sort of film but occasionally it can be good. Has it been out long? Would it be available at DVD Blockbuster type places?
My home is a bit sad today. Yesterday my 23yr old daughter and her lovely fella broke up. She is absolutely heart broken, sobbing,"I cant go on." Oh, that brings back some memories.I'm happily living without a partner, but seeing her struggling is so sad.
Have other people been through this?

Yeah, I went through a break up last year..Relationship lasted around 8 years. It was for around a month or so everything around me felt gloomy and I know I reflected this towards my folks as well. One day at a time to build myself back up even if it felt impossible. Best thing was just being able to have room but also have attention if I needed to just blabber everything on my mind.
My partner and I did break up and it did seem very real for that whole time until we patched things up...And as far as I can tell things are going great.
It's just tough but sadly everyone goes through heartbreak sometime in their life. Would be wonderful to be able to slap something on it to dull the pain but yeah..boo :(
