Did you like it? I'm wondering whether to read it or not because I wasn't a huge fan of Less than Zero.

I've read Last Night in Twisted River and The Forgotten Garden, they were both great in their own way.

Desiree (wickedlittlehigh) | 20 comments I've been quite finicky about what I want to read, and not having access to a library right now makes matters worse. So far The Devil in the White City Murder, Magic, and Madness at the Fair that Changed America has managed to keep my attention.

What happened to The Corrections, did boredom win the fight?

Yeah it did for the time being. Also, cannot find it. We moved last week and I have yet to find where I packed it.

Desiree (wickedlittlehigh) | 20 comments I just finished The Left Hand of Darkness and was finally able to visit the library in the new city and pick up a stack of books. I'm thinking I'm going to read Fahrenheit 451 first.

Colleen | 1 comments All the jezzies talking about the Hunger Games books made me pick up one for a flight last week. Great book! I would have loved the hell out of it as a pre-teen. Still enjoyed it quite a bit and I'm going to have to track down the other two soon. I'd really like to know more about the infrastructure and history of Panem.

The Left Hand of Darkness is one of my favorites. I never could get into any of her other books though.

It took several times of picking it up and starting it, and then of course putting it down. But once I started it really was hard to put down.
