Alias Reader (aliasreader) | 29394 comments That is excellent, Kim !

I can see why X & Z might be a problem.

Marie | 384 comments I am behind on getting my Determination List set up - is it okay to go ahead and create a thread for my challenge or am I too late?

message 57: by Marie (new)

Marie | 384 comments I went ahead and created my Determination List. So it is in this folder. :)

message 58: by madrano (new)

madrano | 23685 comments I see that, Marie. It'll be a full year for you.

Rachel (arkinandco) | 2247 comments Where would I see the folder? How did you find it?

Rachel, you can see all the Folder and Threads on Book Nook Cafe's Main Page.

You can see the Main Page by clicking on the link that says Discussions on the right side of the page.

Or

I will try to link you our Main Page.

If you don't see your Determination/Challenge list,
please remember to click on View All which is next to the Folder name. Thanks !

Also I have NOT deleted 2024. You just may need to View All to find it.

Is there any way you could just put the challenge in our group home with the thread called challenges? I know I have done this for a few years but still cannot seem to understand how to do it. Sorry

madrano | 23685 comments Rachel, i sent you an email, which i hope will help. Good Luck!

For others, here is the link to all the threads established under that heading.
https://www.goodreads.com/topic/group...

Look to the right of the list, at the top, to find the "New Topic" link, clicking on it will give you a page to create your own. Just remember to name it for yourself first, so it's easier to find later. For instance, Rachel's 2025 Book Challenge or similar.

Rachel, I'm not sure what you are asking.

If the following instructions don't help you, I can set up the Thread for you. However, you won't be able to edit my posts, but you can comment in the thread.

If you want this. Let me know which challenge you want me to set up for you.

1- The Determination List & challenges (this is where you make your own challenge)

or

2- The 25 Prompt challenge. (this is the challenge you did in 2024)

If you want to try to do it yourself, here are the instructions.

We have a Folder titled Determination Lists & Challenges.
In that Folder, you create a thread for your Determination list.

This is how to do it.

Go to the Main Page of Book Nook Cafe
This is where you see All the Folder's and the Threads within each.

https://www.goodreads.com/group/show/...

1- Go to the Folder marked Determination Lists and Challenges and click on that title.
https://www.goodreads.com/topic/group...

2- You will see a link that says: New Topic. Click on that.

3- a Box will pop up. In the Topic field type:
Rachel's challenge 2025

4- in the Comment box, type the challenge you created
--------------------

If you are doing the 25 prompt challenge

1-Then go this Folder: 2025 ~ Book Challenge. Click on that title
https://www.goodreads.com/topic/group...

2- You will see a link that says: New Topic. Click on that.

3- in the New Topic field, Type: Your Name 2025

4- Copy and Paste the Master list of prompts into the Comment Box
https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

Hope this helps.

Rachel (arkinandco) | 2247 comments Rachel's 2025 challenge

Normal Rules Don't Apply: Stories

This is an excellent collection of wacky short stories.

message 68: by madrano (new)

madrano | 23685 comments Rachel, you probably want to put a post about this book on your own Challenge page, here--https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

That way, you are able to keep track of what you've completed easier.

I've only read one Kate Atkinson novel, Life After Life. I liked the premise but not the execution. We have watched the streamed series, based on her Case Histories & liked them.

Your post reminds me that i want to give them a try. Thanks.

And congratulations!
