Really Lisa Kay; that's great news. I thought it had to be completed in a year but if it's open then I can complete it. I'll have to change my target date, which is ok with me, because I'd hate to see all the reads that qualify not count and have to start over again.

Yes, Cathie, ever our really fast readers have a hard time doing this in one year. There is no way for me to change the first post in this thread; however, I just realized I could put the "you set the pace" in the title, so I did. LOL!

The you set your own pace is nice, but for me this is one challenge that I never complete and rarely hunt for books to fit. I just do my normal reading and see how many states I manage to get each year. Of course, if I'm reading a sample and the book happens to take place in a harder to find state, I am more likely to consider getting it.

Nah, it is more see what I get and reset it every Jan and start over. If I left it open ended it might take multiple years before I read one of the harder to find states and it gets depressing if I can't mark anything off the list for a long time. So I like the one year format, knowing going in that I won't complete. But I think the set your own pace is a great option for others.
