No, not really. I just had like tree or four books that I'd started in August and stopped at the halfway point. It also helped that a couple of them were YA and really easy reads! :)

Thanks Jencey!

I know that I have Sophie Kinsella down twice but I have a personal copy of Cocktails for Three so it is easy to get to. I had thought about Knitting Under The Influence. Most of the Enchanted Inc. series is in New York. I think only the last book is not. I could be wrong.

Cathy wrote: "Which one? The wendy markham? There are so many replies I can't keep track!"Yeah, I am starting to get confused with all the replies that look the same... Maybe if we edit them to include the info we are currently responding to instead of the beginner stuff, it'd be easier?
I am working on my list. I didn't think I'd be able to participate, but I'm going to try. I know I won't be able to read too many books because of school, but these challenges are too fun to pass up!
Tara wrote: "Cathy, the Judy Blume book, Summer Sisters."Haha - I figured it out like ten minutes after - I was probably just confusing myself! That was such a good book - they should make it a movie - I cried at the end of it - I was 16, at work, and so embarassed! I hid my face and toughened back up:) Hahaha!
I just received Summer Sisters off of Bookmooch yesterday - I'm glad to hear it's so good!Cathy - I personally am in love with the Slightly series by Wendy Markham! Too bad no new ones have come out since then.
I liked Summer Sisters. I just was unsure I wanted to read it again. I am interested in reading some of Judy Blumes adult books.

It was pretty good... There were some twists at the end that I did not expect, which was nice. Interesting to see the viewpoint in an abusive situation.
Have you read it, or are you planning to?
Well with the move and some personal things happening - my reading in october has been below the norm.5.10 Saving Max by Antoinette van Heugten

I want to read a book by Madeleine Wickham for the Name’s the Same task. I read Cocktails for Three awhile ago and thought it was just ok. Here is what my library has:A Desirable Residence, The Gatecrasher, Sleeping Arrangements and The Wedding Girl.
Which do you think I should read? Any that you liked best/least? Just trying to get an idea. Thanks!

I read The Gatecrasher and it was too dark for me. I really enjoyed Sleeping Arrangements, but for me, my vote would be for The Wedding Girl! I am currently reading it and am so into the storyline and the "what will happen next" aspect is so strong it is a hard book to put down. I am about halfway through, so I'm hoping to read a lot tonight to see what happens.
I have A Desirable Residence and Cocktails for Three but haven't tried them yet.

Oh no Cathy, you can change it every day if you want to! I have been, LOL!
Thank you to you and Jencey for posting them. If you use the strike-through feature to mark off the ones you've read, it makes it easier for me in case I get confused in the point tracking. You don't have to do the strike-through thing, I don't think everyone does, it's not a big deal - just makes it easier for me. (I guess I'm a little selfish that way. LOL!) :)
