What's Your Favourite Aussie Movie or Television Show? What are you watching now?
Wow that is quick turn around for it being up on iview :o I would have thought they'd wait until midnight to release it..Guess iview does things differently..Good to know!
I thought Paper giants was realy well done - and very entertaining. My daughters watched it too and they are 16 and 21, so it had broader appeal than just the 70s nostalgia... but I loved the music and fashions!
this isnt aussie or a tv show.. but it has two aussies in it...did any go see sucker punch?
i loved it had no idea what it was about but the graphics and dragons where awesome! and the soundtrack was awesome too

I saw it! it's inception with cosplay :D
LOL inception with cosplay..zomg XDDDNo, I've not seen it..Nor have I been to the movies in..uh....years. I can't remember the last movie I actually saw in the theater O.o;
Last movie I saw in the theaters was 'Little Fockers". But I have no plans to see 'Sucker Punch'. None at all.
However, I am looking forward to THE HUNGER GAMES MOVIE on MARCH 23 2012. Sooooo exciteddddd.
It has an Australian in it: Liam Hemsworth as Gale.
I will go see that first session its on.
Jessica....really??? We wouldn't have known you wanted to see THE HUNGER GAMES MOVIE in MARCH 2012!!! :d lolol

Too true, Melanie!!!! :)
Too true, Melanie!!!! :)
THE CHASERS WAR ON EVERYTHING boys are doing a one-off special: a commentary on the royal wedding! I am extremely excited for this :)http://blogs.abc.net.au/thebuzz/2011/...

I'm glad it's not just me Laura....they go too far IMO, for instance, making fun of terrorism, and little children with cancer, just to name a couple of things, is in extremely poor taste!!! Just my opinion of course.

Yaaay! You are the only other person I know who doesn't like them apart from myself. I always got the 'You don't like them just because they are cool'...And it's never been like that. I just don't find their style of humor funny and it's the same with others who use the same sort of humor.
And yes I agree with the going too far..blegh :/
Well, I love them :) Obviously not their 'make a wish' sketch, but apart from that I think they''re hilarious...when you say 'making fun of terrorism', do you mean the APEC stunt?
Yes Jess, that was over and above 'funny'!!! And that's fine for you to love them, my son does as well!!! :)
Well the thing with the APEC stunt was that they weren't really making fun of terrorism, they were making fun of the government response to terrorism.I think that one was unintentionally scary though. I remember them saying that they didn't expect to get past the first checkpoint, given that they were flying flags of a non-APEC country...
i just thought it was funny how they accidently showed the world how bad our secruity was...what if they werent just some harmless tv guys there was the worlds most powerful people in that place and we just let them walse right in!
It's repeats of early season 2 stuff. The next two new episodes to screen here are 'Night of Neglect' (already broadcast in the US) and the 90 minute special 'Born This Way'.Currently I'm working my way through 3 seasons of Castle...
Why is there such a big gap between new episodes? Its really annoying me...Ive kinda lost interest in it :( BUTTTTT I heard that Sandy is back, so that should re-spark my interest. I friggin' love Sandy! Its a shame hes only featured a few times...he is my favorite character.
Yep, even more than Sue and Kurt.
...because they had to film the new episodes. When you come down to it, the UK serials run for about 13 episodes, and the US ones run for 22 to 24. Most of them seem to take a gap between awards season and the last six eps of any given season.

Exactly what I was going to say.
Glee latest episode was amusing but not as good as per usual.
could they please change the doctor on doctor who i hate him and i miss watching that show!

way to young to be a doctor they were pushing it with tennant (i didn't mind then because...well its david tennant and he is very good looking!) i miss the old old series, wish they would replay them, i love ted baker!

Did you see Time Clash though? The special before the Titanic Christmas Special?
im not sure i think i did but there are a few eps i missed in first and second season
o yes i saw the last half of that one!
Chasers wedding got cancelled?!?!? That sucks...it was going to be awesome :(
That
Has anyone been watching the new Dr Who? I want the whole season and I want it now dammit! I also want more Canton Delaware III. Character of awesome!

Its getting kind of old...I think its being dragged out to long.
I dunno, its lost its originality and 'freshness' for me, there is not enough Sue or Kurt, and its been ages since Ive seen a really good song on the show.
i just bought Spirited season one on dvd loved even more then the first time i watched it :D
second season comes out in july!
kinda makes me wanna live in Sydney
