Ashley (readerandwriter) For me my favortie part of the Hogwarts building was the ceiling in the great hall. That was really cool how it could change views.

message 2: by Jane (last edited Aug 25, 2016 12:26PM) (new)

Jane I want my own prefect's bathroom.

message 3: by [deleted user] (new)

Either the prefects bathroom, the Ravenclaw Common Room (entrance), and/or the ceiling of the Great Hall.

message 4: by Rachel (last edited Aug 25, 2016 12:28PM) (new)

Rachel i love the changing staircases, the room of requirement (man, i could have fun in there!), and the cozy gryffindor commonroom. but if i had to choose one place to just hang out, it would be on the grounds of hogwarts. i would love to stroll around the lake, sit under the big trees, throw rocks at the whomping willow, run around the quidditch pitch, play with the weird animals outside hagrid's... i think the grounds around hogwarts would be the best place ever.

Patricia (theinfophile) | 7 comments I love the prefect's bathroom; however, I think my favourite is the Room of Requirement. Man, I want one of those!!!

message 6: by Beth (last edited Aug 25, 2016 12:28PM) (new)

Beth (bibliocat4) Yes, the prefect bathroom! And the Room of Requirement

message 7: by Ashley (last edited Aug 25, 2016 12:28PM) (new)

Ashley (readerandwriter) Another favorite part of Hogwarts were the talking and moving portraits. Also Albus Dumbledore's office.

message 8: by Paul (last edited Aug 25, 2016 12:29PM) (new)

Paul | 1 comments Another vote for the Room of Requirement... Isn't it the perfect place for anything you like to do? Hope the Fiendfyre didn't destroy it though...

message 9: by Cindy (last edited Aug 25, 2016 12:29PM) (new)

Cindy (supercin721) | 26 comments I loved the Great Hall. Just the idea of looking up at your ceiling and seeing stars but still being protected from outside annoyances (bugs-eek)...awesome.

Tara (tara_n) | 83 comments I loved the Great Hall but the Room of Requirement was awesome. I need one of those! Dumbledore had the kind of office that I could have spent hours in, I definitely would love being one of the protraits in there!

On the actual Hogwarts grounds, I loved the Whomping Willow! I think it's fabulous!

message 12: by Jordan (last edited Aug 25, 2016 12:58PM) (new)

Jordan (jordieheartsbooks) I could use a room of requirement, and then the prefect bathroom and then the great hall. I'd also like to have a place like Hogsmeade to hang out around.....

Amy Marie (amy_marie97) | 26 comments the Gryffindor commmon room.
It would be fantastic to be surrounded by so many friends with the same interest, by a nice roaring fire, and huge comfortable armchairs.
It just has that warm fuzzy feeling. ^_^

message 27: by [deleted user] (new)

The library or the Gryffindor common-room, the latter of which is enough imprinted in my mind that it can make me nostalgic. :)

message 36: by Joe (last edited Jun 24, 2011 10:21PM) (new)

Joe | 57 comments I've noticed that most have said what I'm about to say, but no-one (unless I've missed you) has mentioned my favourite.

1: The lakefront, like the same setting as Dumbledore's funeral, a nice warm afternoon with the sun setting, but without the depression. I've always imagined how good it'd be just to rest on the last day of school on the lakefront watching people splash around in the water, people practicing magic for fun. That'd be my best dream.

2: The Astronomy Tower, after watching HBP at the end when Harry and Hermione talked, I only noticed the beautiful scenery you can see from that high up, I'd love to be able to expierence that aswell.

3: Definetly the RoR, I love how anything wil show up inside. I'd doubt it'd give me the scenery the lakefront does, but I'd definetly love it. Especially using the books the DA find and use to learn spells.

4: The kitchens, DEFINETLY, the house elves inside would be so generous and I'd love to see a giggling pear. x]

5: The Ravenclaw Common Room, I've always imagined I'd be in Ravenclaw, so the Common Room would be pretty cool, also figuring out the riddle to get in.

6: The Herbology areas ouside of the main castle, I'd love to be able to hang out with the exotic animal/creatures they'd have in the Greenhouses.

message 37: by Abi (new)

Abi Lou | 184 comments I think the entire castle is my favourite. I love the mystery of it, and how there are so many secrets that have yet to be figured out. I would love to just stroll around the castle with the Marauders' Map and see all of the hidden passageways and shortcuts and stuff...

I agree with the lakefront, I can imagine what you said. But I'd like to see maybe just the School Grounds, like the Transfiguration Courtyard and such.
