Tom Vetter (tom_vetter) | 2 comments Greetings, all!

I am NOT the Third Anita - to the great relief of the other two, no doubt. I am Tom Vetter, aged adventurer, dedicated writer, emerging author and indie publisher. I love to read and write historical fiction. I have small (but growing!) book sales, a few fans, an author's profile here on GoodReads, and a website at http://www.tomvetterbooks.com. Most importantly, I have a novella ready to release, an adventure memoir in its last pre-pub stages, and two more HF novels well underway.

I'm delighted to find you folks. I've been here on GoodReads for a while now, wondering where all the writers and authors hung out. Luckily, Listopia has uncloaked this secret chamber!

Most of the forums I found here cater to readers, and all seem to warn the writers to join as readers. I felt a little self-conscious and unwelcome in them, wanting to talk about writing, while they wanted to chat about favored books. I do, but feel like typing in ALLCAPS after a while.

Anyway, good luck to all of you - may all your books sell, and the fans swarm you! It's nice to be home!

I love helping new authors so write to me if you like (joanelloyd@att.net).

Jonathan Dixit (jonathanmartindixit) | 3 comments Greetings!

My name is Jonathan Dixit. I am very new to Goodreads. BabyWorld, my first novel, was released a month ago and is available on Amazon and in select Toronto book stores (visit my website for details my link text)

BabyWorld is a crime mystery, soft Sci-Fi novel that deals with the dysfunction occurring in families suffering from suppressed trauma. I am looking for people to read my book and post reviews. If provided with your details, I will send you a gift copy. I am also interested in "author-read-and-HONEST-review swaps".

As an excited newbie to this group, I feel that I should give a lot before I get a little; so I hope to help by contributing reviews for others before the favour is returned.

Thanks,

Jonathan

Kath Middleton Good morning all. I'm new to this group but not to Goodreads. Like many, I suspect, I'm a reader and a writer. I'm also a reviewer, both here and on Amazon (as Ignite).
I've only been writing for a year at the instigation (it wasn't quite bullying!) of some authors for whom I beta read. Getting their own back!

I'm looking forward to joining in discussions here and there.

Anthony Whitt | 10 comments Hello goodreads friends. I’m Anthony Whitt, an avid reader, author, and lifelong Texan with a deep love of the American West. I’m working on a trilogy about the Texas Hill Country and the hardy souls that made a life out of settling the harsh wilderness after the Civil War. The reviews have been awesome and it’s my pleasure to share the work on goodreads. Hard Land to Rule is a story that takes the reader on a ride through treachery, greed, lust, and death that make this tale more than just another western. For more details about Hard Land to Rule and the recently released second book in the trilogy, Cold Hard Ride, please visit www.anthonywhitt.com

Melody Knighton (MelodyKnighton) | 1 comments Hey guys and gals.

I'm Melody, I'm in my late 20's and I work as an illustrator for video games, comics and children's books, but lately I'm hacking away on writing an urban fantasy/mystery novel. I'm about a 1/4th of the way through and so far so good.

Best of luck to everyone on their writing and I'd love to make some more buddies so feel free to add me. I'm always available for some free advice on covers or other graphic design questions. :)
