Great Idea!!"
That is a great idea Bernadette, mind if I borrow it?

Thanks Mish great to have an Aussie group. Marie Clair I live in Brisbane an avid reader/author. Have a FREEBIE available for four more days Looking for Love? 12 Steps Away. It is a follow up to my recently published Undone - The Search for Meaning. A dark funny illuminating story. It has 13 ***** Reviews from its recent free run. It is another story - ie. learning how to direct traffic after the free run. Finding a group of passionate Aussie readers is exciting - very happy to support other authors/readers, download their books, Like, Review or share what I am learning about self publishing / marketing. I'm from Brisbane, Kangaroo Point, recently published a book with strong Australian flavour/references - more to follow.
Tapping into discussions like yours is encouraging, and appreciated. It's a big, wide world of books out there, getting noticed, getting feed-back is gold. Oi Oi Oi, MandyM.

My name's Ilona but everyone just calls me Lollie, and I'm from Hervey Bay, QLD.
I was a makeup artist for film and television for a fair number of years, but I'm currently studying for my degree in psychology.
I have a huge love for Studio Ghibli films, old muscle cars, have an addiction to watermelon ice-cream , and of course... I love to read :)

I'm Tash, twenty old from Melbourne. I 'm originally from NZ but spent more then half of my life here . I'm book blogger and avid reader who has a passion for old mills and boon, that I been know to compulsive buy in mass lots. I pretty much reader anything that I find interesting so my taste can vary.

Thanks Guys :)

I read very widely but retreat into murder mystery when I need a break or want to relax.
I've started to write my own murder mystery series which I'm serialising on Wattpad. The first story is called 'Death on Dangar Island'

I escaped from America and moved to Australia back in 1999. I remember when 9/11 (or is it 11/9?) happened. My wife called me at work and said someone flew a plane into the World Trade Center. I replied, "What, on St Kilda Road???"
I wound up leaving Australia a few years back, moving to South America and writing a bunch of guidebooks for Lonely Planet, including LP Colombia, LP Venezuela, etc. Now I'm publishing a series of novels based on my experiences in South America... but I'm not supposed to talk about that here. :)

hi Brenda... yes, I am 120% cheek, as my readers will attest. Living in Australia really taught me how to take the piss! LOL
I am currently marooned in Canada, looking to find a way to bring my family back to Oz... fingers crossed. :)

:)"
hi Deborah, no, that was Thomas Kohnstamm, who is actually a good bloke. I worked with him on Lonely Planet Venezuela just before that scandal broke.

My 3 favourite things in this world are
Books
Bags and
Boots.
I also love my animals and have a Noah's ark thing happening at home.
My favourite Aussie author is Malina machetta (my spelling and grammar are horrid so sorry)
I love finding grace and the messenger. I'm so glad I read the latter before the book thief otherwise I would not have read the messenger and it truly is one of my favourites. I love recommendations as I can easily get into a rout of bad book choices and that makes me a sad panda! And welcome the chance to make new friends so again hi!!!!!!
