Lisarenee | 7659 comments YA unless the biography was about a very interesting person.

Would you rather win a lifetime worth of books from a bookstore or a lifetime worth of free movies from a movie theater?

message 152: by Sans (new)

Sans Um, books. Sooooo definitely books.

Would you rather drive a super car (any one here watch Top Gear?) or fly a plane?

message 153: by Lauren (new)

Lauren | 931 comments Fly a plane... I'd end up crashing the plane.

Would you rather climb up the side of a building (like spiderman) or go bungee jumping off the Empire State building? (lol)

message 154: by Kristen (new)

Kristen | 223 comments I would rather climb up the side of a building.

If you had to choose to save your spouse/significant other, or your child, which would you pick? Sorry, that is kind of morbid. lol

message 155: by Lisarenee (new)

Lisarenee | 7659 comments I would probably pick my child only because if the situation was reverse I'd want my husband to save our child instead of me. Knowing me, however, in the heat of the moment, I wouldn't be able to pick and we'd all parish. :(

Would you rather be the smartest person in the world or the wealthiest?

message 156: by Angela (new)

Angela (angieerickson) | 338 comments The wealthiest. I think life would be boring if I was the smartest person in the world.

Would you prefer to be the centre of attention or a wallflower?

message 157: by Lisarenee (new)

Lisarenee | 7659 comments I prefer being a wallflower. Would anyone have guessed? :)

Would you prefer to learn a new language or learn to play a new instrument?

message 158: by Kristen (new)

Kristen | 223 comments I think learning a new language would be more useful than learning a new instrument. And that is coming from a person that makes her living, along with her husband, teaching music. lol I would have to go with language though...just don't tell my employer. ;o)

Would you rather eat only meat for the rest of your life or vegetables?

message 159: by Lisarenee (new)

Lisarenee | 7659 comments Probably vegetables. An all meat diet doesn't sound to healthy, even though I'd miss it.

If your safety was guaranteed would you rather take a trip to the moon or take a submarine to some of the deepest depths of the ocean.

message 160: by Jane (new)

Jane (shoxford) | 34 comments Deepest depths of the ocean

Would you rather eat an ant sandwich or a beetle baguette?

message 161: by Lisarenee (new)

Lisarenee | 7659 comments Ants seem the less disagreeable of the two.

Would you rather spend the holidays vacationing in the mountains skiing or on a warm and sandy beach?

message 162: by Lauren (new)

Lauren | 931 comments Probably on a warm beach. The Appachaian (sp?) Mountains are right by our house, so I go skiing a lot. Just got our skiis the other day! :)

Would you rather spend your evening wathing tv or listening to music?

message 163: by Sashana (new)

Sashana Music, no contest.

Would you rather a lifetime worth of Hershey's kisses or a lifetime worth of skittles?

message 164: by Lauren (new)

Lauren | 931 comments Hershey Kisses... But only if it's the Almond kind. I love those!

Would you rather be "friends" with everyone, but your closest friends secretly hate you or have only one or two friends that would do anything for you?

Lol

message 165: by Sashana (new)

Sashana Easy, I already have two of the best friends a girl could ever ask for :D. I'm not a crowd type of girl; been there done that, and 100 'friends' aren't worth the drama.

Would you rather go to a concert with back stage passes (for your favorite musician) or a movie premiere on the red carpet (with your favorite actress)?

message 166: by Sans (new)

Sans Concert. And I know who I would go see too.

Suspending all disbelief, would you rather meet your favourite character from a book or your favourite historical figure?

message 167: by Angela (new)

Angela (angieerickson) | 338 comments Definitely my favourite character from a book. I would do almost anything to meet Bones....oh, Bones!

Would you rather own a luxury condominium with thin walls and loud neighbours OR would you rather own an old character house that needs extensive upgrades?

message 168: by Sashana (new)

Sashana Old Character house any day. I live in an apartment with thin walls and trust me when I say I know waaaayyyyy too many details about my neighbors.

Would you rather have a big party (lots of friends and family) or a small dinner party?

message 169: by Rollie (new)

Rollie (zheick) | 24 comments I rather have a small dinner party.
Aside from reading, would you rather love to eat or love to sleep?
:)

message 170: by Sashana (new)

Sashana That's a tough one, I love to sleep but I'm a foodie at heart. So eating it is.

message 171: by Shannon (new)

Shannon (iandssmom) | 215 comments I think the middle of nowhere I'm not much for crowds.

message 172: by Rollie (new)

I'm afraid to get frozen.. lol

Would you rather buy a book or just borrow one?

message 173: by Angela (new)

Angela (angieerickson) | 338 comments BUY a book, for sure. If I love the series, I'd just got out and buy the series anyway. I'm sort of loyal that way.

Would you rather wake up to a hot cup of coffee and a bowl or porridge OR a cold glass of juice and a bowl of fruit.

message 174: by Sashana (new)

Sashana Cold glass of juice and a bowl of fruit. I hate hot beverages, I don't even drink hot chocolate (and I am a chocoholic of the highest caliber).

Would you rather bungee jump or sky-dive?

message 175: by Kristen (new)

Kristen | 223 comments I would much rather skydive.

If you were going on vacation far from your home, would you rather take a plane and get there fast to enjoy the vacation spot longer, or ride in a car to enjoy the scenery along the way?

message 176: by Sashana (new)

Sashana Take a plane because one, I have a history of car sickness and two, there is no way in hell I want to be stuck in a car with my family for hours and hours. I want to preserve my sanity, not lose it.

Would you rather be a world famous author (more famous and richer than even J.K. Rowling) who isn't a really good writer (just good at writing fluff) or a unknown author who's writing was spectacular but went unnoticed?

message 177: by Angela (new)

Angela (angieerickson) | 338 comments Definitely a world famous author like JK Rowling; her writing is spectacular.

Would you rather drink a strong hot cup of coffee or an iced cold sweet glass of tea?

message 178: by Shannon (new)

Shannon (iandssmom) | 215 comments Well this is tough because I love iced cold sweet tea but I'm so cold right now the coffee doesn't sound bad but I'm going with the tea!

Would you rather live in a changing climate (changes with the seasons) or stable climate (mostly stays the same)?

message 179: by Sans (new)

Sans I live in the Bay Area, which is pretty famous for it's stable climate. I'd like to experience actual seasons for a change though.

Would you rather get a bunch of presents that were just ok, or one present that means a lot to you?

message 180: by Sashana (new)

Sashana One present that means a lot to me. I only want one thing this year so please Santa, don't neglect me.

Would you rather never go on goodreads again or have an unlimited supply of books that you would never have to pay for.

message 181: by Lisarenee (last edited Dec 06, 2010 01:51PM) (new)

Lisarenee | 7659 comments *raises one eyebrow* I would pick the books so I could stay on goodreads and have an unlimited amount of books. Duh!

LOL I think you meant to pick between Goodreads and Unlimited books. Glad you didn't phrase it that way. Oh, and I'll never tell which I'd choose. MLAS

Would you rather be kissed by a zombie or troll?

message 182: by Sashana (new)

Sashana I see you're trying to beat the system, Lisarenee. And I would kiss a troll because zombies are too gross.

Since Lisarenee one up me, I'll rephrase my question :). Would you rather pick between Goodreads or unlimited books?

message 183: by Lisarenee (new)

Lisarenee | 7659 comments I'd pick Goodreads. If I had unlimited books I would never be able to read them all. But I'd miss discussing the limited books I have access to with the awesome people on Goodreads.

Would you rather get everything you want for Christmas or be able to accomplish everything on your New Year's Resolution?

message 184: by Angela (new)

Angela (angieerickson) | 338 comments Definitely accomplish everything on my New Year's Resolution.

Would you rather spend the holidays surrounded by all of your friends and family OR would you rather spend the holidays with a handful of your most loved family/friends?

message 185: by Lisarenee (last edited Dec 27, 2010 07:40PM) (new)

Lisarenee | 7659 comments Probably I would rather spend the holidays with my most loved family/friends. To have all my family might be a tad overwhelming.

Would you rather ride in a hot air balloon or a blimp?

message 186: by Sashana (new)

Sashana Hot air balloon, I just had this horrible vision of me in a blimp that exploded. Not pretty.

Would you rather have a magnificent sining voice or unmatched cooking skills in the kitchen?

message 187: by Angela (new)

Angela (angieerickson) | 338 comments UNMATCHED COOKING SKILLS - I love to cook and find it relaxing. I get huge pleasure when people compliment my food.

Would you rather 1)spend a day of leisure (sleep in, soak in the bath, relax with a good book, etc)
OR 2) spend a day of activity (up at dawn, have a quick shower, hike/jog/run your favourite trails, etc)

message 188: by Kristen (new)

Kristen | 223 comments 1. Spend day of leisure (sleep in, soak in bath, relax with a good book) definitely! I'm hoping for a snow day tomorrow so I can do exactly that. Please snow more...please snow more...

Would you rather have 1)a beautiful house with exactly everything you want/need in it, but drive a junky car OR 2)drive the car of your dreams with everything you could possibly want/need in it, but have a junky house?

Galla | 110 comments Mckris10 wrote: "Would you rather have 1)a beautiful house with exactly everything you want/need in it, but drive a junky car OR 2)drive the car of your dreams with everything you could possibly want/need in it, but have a junky house? "

I'm actually pretty darn close to #1 right now, lol--nice house, hardwood floors, big kitchen, and we drive a 2004 Corolla. Never been much of a car person! But hey, that car never gives us any trouble. So, 1 it is.

Would you rather:

Snow ski or water ski?

message 190: by Lisarenee (new)

Lisarenee | 7659 comments I'd rather snow ski. Although I'm not good at it I really enjoy it. Plus, don't get much of a chance to do it in Florida.

Would you rather 1)have everything look perfect at your wedding, but the pictures not reflect that OR 2) have seemingly everything go wrong at your wedding, but the pictures be absolutely fabulous and look like you had the perfect wedding?

message 191: by Angela (new)

Angela (angieerickson) | 338 comments I think the memories of the day are more important than what's captured, so I say 1) have everything look perfect at your wedding, but the pictures not reflect that.

WOULD YOU RATHER spend a lifetime as a strict vegetarian (no meat of any kind) or a lifetime as a strict meatatarian (no veggies of any kind)? This is assuming your digestive system is so fabulous that it could handle either one.

message 192: by Sashana (new)

Sashana I rarely eat my veggies now (don't give me that look!). I'll be a meatatarian and substitute veggies for fruits. It's a win-win.

Would you rather have the kindle or the nook?

message 193: by Kristen (new)

Kristen | 223 comments I think I would rather have a Kindle, but if someone was going to give me a Nook I certainly wouldn't complain. My birthday is in two weeks...everyone, please direct your good thoughts to my husband to convince him to buy one for me...

Would you rather meet your favorite author or your favorite movie star?

message 194: by Liz (new)

Liz Fichera (lizfichera) Mckris10 wrote: "I think I would rather have a Kindle, but if someone was going to give me a Nook I certainly wouldn't complain. My birthday is in two weeks...everyone, please direct your good thoughts to my husban..."

message 199: by Lisarenee (last edited Jan 15, 2011 05:02PM) (new)

Lisarenee | 7659 comments Already know how to ski (although very poorly) so I'd say snowboard.

Would you rather have the power of persuasion or the ability to sum a person up at a single glance?

message 200: by Galla (new)

Would you rather travel the world but be unable to stay in any one place for more than a month, or put down strong roots in a hometown but be unable to leave?
