Just reading the first ones, but they are well written, with believable characters. Also like Chloe Neill's vamp series.
I read the first of Neill's series last year. I plan on reading that one again and the rest soon.
Vampire Academy series is very good and the next one comes out later this year. The only thing the author does that drives me crazy are the cliffhangers!
I know! But it's fun trying to guess what will happen.
I love the vampire academy books, I have re-read them a few times actually. The characters are fantastic and so lovable, especially Rose and Dimitri =D It is definitely one of my favourite series. I can't wait until the last book is released in December.

I didn't think I would ever want to see Rose with anyone but Dimitri however I have to say that after the last one (even starting with the one before it) I love Adrian. He has turned out to be so interesting and sweet and well he is different from Dimitri but in a totally good way and I don't know that our russian love is ever going to bounce back to what he was. There is a lot of scar tissue there and it would be hard to get over the fact that you tried to kill and/or force your lover to become the last thing she would ever want to be, I'm just saying...
I was in love with Adrian from Frostbite. He's good looking, rich, charming, and hilarious...you can't get better than that.
Im with you Jaimie. I was one of those who didn't think I'd be able to stand Rose with someone other than Dimitri, even though I always liked Adrian. I liked them together after this last one. You got to see the side of him that was only hinted at there possibly being. I liked that.
I still however must say I hold out hope for poor old Rose and Dimitri.

This series is a MUST-read for YA fic. Each one is better than the last. The characters all mature and make tough decisions. I won't post any more spoilers, but I'm cheering for Adrian. "Adrian, Adrian, he's our man..."
If prefer Adrian but I'm fine with whoever she ends up with. I find myself rooting for whoever's in the scene. When she's with Dimitri I keep thinking, "Kiss her you fool!" and when she's with Adrian it's more like, "Screw Dimitri, go with Adrian!"
Just read the first book to the series. LOVED IT!! :)
I LOVE this series. I haven't read the last book yet but I was pulling for Adrian after Blood Promise. In my opinion, this series wipes the floor with Twilight.
Of course it does! Much better storyline, way better writting, kick-ass characters.
This is one of my all-time fave series. I cannot wait until Last Sacrifice comes out!

Meme, Spirit Bound is my fave of the entire series. I was able to get my copies of her books signed by her when she came to Toronto last month. I'm going to be super sad once this series is over. Imagine waiting a full year until the new spinoff book comes out. Agoonnnyy.

Spinoff? Oh no. Between Spirit Bound and Blood Promise my interest in this series waned. Blood Promise specially. I do like Richelle's writing, but I've had enough of this series.

I will admit that Blood Promise kinda got me out of the series alittle...But decided to continue with Spirit Bound and I am awaiting the new one...impatiently.
Spirit Bound was actually my least favorite in the series so far. I so love Richelle that I am now going to read Succubus blues....
I read the first four in a row and hated that I had to wait for the fifth. Now the final book is coming out and I am grateful to be getting an advance copy! I loved Dimitry in the fourth book when he was evil. He was very alluring. I'm not worried at all about Rose getting out of trouble and thought the ending in book five was not a cliffhanger at all. (I was a little disappointed there.) I hope the series finale will be good.

I pre-ordered it for the Nook, and usually they're pretty good about delivering on time. Sometimes you'll get it an hour or two late, but that's rare.

I know, it's so bittersweet to finish a good series. I am going to miss Rose as well.

I am lucky. I really didn't think he would want to read any of the books I have read but one night, he needed something to read and I gave him Twilight. :) Now, he has the Kindle app on his phone and doesn't know how to buy books so he reads mine. Haha!
I will say that he likes pretty much every book that I have told him to read, including the Mortal Instruments series, Hunger Games series, Fever series and Midnighters series. He still needs to read the Darkest Powers series. I keep trying to get him to read Midnight Breed or BDB but he's not going for that. LOL!

That's too funny. I was reading Lover Avenged last week and my hub sat down next to me and asked if I was enjoying my "dirty porno book". LoL You would think men would enjoy reading a "dirty porno book"!
I thought he would like it too but apparently men are visual creatures. Hehe!

I can get my husband to read some of my books, but not usually UF/PNR. They have to be more sci-fi ish like Hunger Games, Maze Runner, etc. I don't think I could get him to read VA or Fever, and definitely not something like BDB. I feel awkward even reading BDB around him. He was looking funny at me the other day when I was reading a Lisa Kleypas historical romance.
I just started reading the very first one in the series, and I'm already sucked in! I love it so far!
