Shay stands up and brushes herself off. "Because you TACKLED me."

Kat leaps in, wearing her super cute outit she's gonna wear tomorrow at the dance.

"That doesn't mean you have to kick me," Whim says miserably, burying her head in her charcoal-smudged hands. "I love-tackled you."

Kat walks over, clueless to Whim and hugs her. "It's okay." She says sympathetically.

Shay looks down. "I-I-I...didn't know." She plops down in the recliner behind her, weeping.

Kat frowns. "Don't cry, cuase I'm crying because Anna ditched me for Ria for the dance. Now I have no one to go with!" She sayd, distraught. Plopping down on the floor her face turns hot and she burries her head in her hands letting the water fall.

Shay stops crying and trudges over to Kat. SHe wraps her hands around Ka in a hug and stis there with her. "It's okay."

"Thanks." Kat sniffs. "Now let's all make up."

Shay apologizes, "Sorry Whim, I was Confuzzled." Shay listens to mom yell at her for being on to late. "Oh man. I have to go. It's my bed time. Bai!" Shay walks out of room. "See ya'll later!"

Ivi sighs. "Why is it that whenever I come back there has to be violence, hm?"

"You know you love it, Ivi," Van says with a joking wink. She rushes over and gently love-tackles Whim, mostly because she's not very strong. "DON'T WORRY, THE REASON I WASN'T ON WAS A VERY GOOD ONE. I. Bought. THE LOST HERO!" She squeezes Whim with joy, squealing.

Shay cocks her head slightly. "The lost hero?"

"It's Rick Riorden's newest books series, I believe," Ivi replies.

Shay nods. "I get it now. Does it come after The Red Pyramid? I still haven't read that."

"The Red Pyramid is a completely different serires. The Lost Hero comes after The Last Olympian," Ivi explains.

"Oh!" Shay gets excited. "So, will it include Percy and them?"

"I believe Percy is missing in the opening chapter. I'm not completely sure. I need to go buy the book," Ivi sighs.

"Oh...Cool! My 6th grade teacher is reading it. I need to ask her how it is." Shay smiled. "Oh yeah, and I'm not in 6th grade. She WAS my teacher two years ago." Shay pointed out.

Ivi nods. "I know. You're older than me, so I doubt you're still in sixth grade," Ivi replies. Then she sighs. "Sixteen more days..."

Shay cocked her head. "Sixteen more days 'til what? Your birthay?"

Ivi nods. "And I'm finally not going to be considered a child."

Shay smiles. "My birthday is in a month." She turns her head and listens to Dad call her to leave for school. "Okay, Dad. I gotta go, Ivi. I might be on in a few. Bai!"

"Bai, Shay!" Ivi calls. Ironically, it's not even 6:00 where she lives. -__-

Shay smiles. "I'm back for a few minutes."

Shay looks at time. "i have...about 3-5 minutes."

Shay frantically looked at clock. "I HAVE TO GO!!!!" Shay rushes out the door.

Van walks in wearing her Gym uniform, coughing. "I freaking hate the PACER," she says, scowling.

Shay gasps. "The Pacer test?! It's okay, I kinda like it."

"I used to like it," Van says, starting to frown. "But now that I'm older, the requirements are larger," she says sighing. "And my throat hurts."

"PACER?" Whim asks with a frown. She picks at her nails-- her hands are sporting scrawls and doodles again, thanks to Math class. "Never heard of it. Dudes. I was very innocently walking home when I got asked out by three strangers. -.- What. The. F*ck."

"Oh, I was in band, first period and the announcements come on," Van deepens her voice in imitation of her principal. "'If you all see a caucasian male near the school, about sixty, and he talks to you, just ignore him. Have a fantastic Friday!'"

"Hehehheheheee." Whim giggles, trying to imagine that on the PA system at her school. "Well, they were like 18-ish. So it was OK. Does your school do the alliteration thing too? 'Marvelous Monday, Terrific Tuesday, Wacky Wednesday, Thoughtful Thursday, Fierce Friday, etc.?"
