John Hileman (johnmichaelhileman) | 7 comments My wife and I are looking for a family devotion book. We have a 10 year old daughter and a 13 year old son. Do any of you have suggestions for a book that is appropriate for pre-teens? We are a Bible believing "Calvary Chapel" family who hold to a somewhat Bapti-costal viewpoint. Any suggestions would be warmly received.

Regards,
John Michael Hileman

Sandra McLeod (sandrahumphrey) You might want to check out my book
Me, Myself, and I: Youth Meditations for Grades 5 through 8. You can check it out on Amazon or on my Web site: www.kidscandoit.com and if you think you might like it, let me know (Sandra305@aol.com) and I'll send you an autographed copy. Have a great week!

Glenda Reynolds (glendareynolds) Destined To Reign Devotional by Joseph Prince; I have the Kindle version. Also Joel Osteen's Your Best Live Begins Each Morning is good too: short and positive.

Michael Elliott | 3 comments If they like movies, you could also try my book, Thus Saith Hollywood II: Classic Films and Timeless Truths, which uses film as a springboard for spiritual thought and discussion. You can find it on Amazon at www.amazon.com/Thus-Saith-Hollywood-I...

Tiffany Gallant (tiffnkailey) | 11 comments His Princess Love Letters from Your King by Sheri Rose Shepherd

I am currently reading this book with my 9 year old daughter. We read two pages a night. She absolutely loves it. I don't think she understands alot of it. But she seems to like listening to me read it. It has also motivated her to read her own devotion by herself. This book is basically devotional, with letters written to you, like they were written from God. It really makes you feel cherished and loved. So I think for a young girl, or even a woman this would be a great book.
