What You've Been Up To!

My book signing on 8/30/10 went very well. Better than expected really. My next leg was to Oregon, where I visited a nudest beach. Trust me, it's not all its cracked up to be. Then, I visited family in Washington. You must stop by the Seattle Aguarium, if you get the chance. I never get enough of seeing the beautiful creatures. Now, I'm in California, basking in the spring-like temperatures. In between all of this traveling, I have read five books and wrote three chapters for Justin's story.
That's it for now. Talk to you soon.
Have a wonderful day!
I've been trying to get settled in my new home, establishing residency, getting a new license, registering my car...yadda yadda yadda...boring stuff. But I have read some pretty good books this month and I won Lisa Kleypas' new book:
!!! I'm super excited as I never win anything!!

Popping in to share that I've been finishing up my sweet interracial romance as well as doing promotional stuff for my debut novel, The Arrangement (http://www.delaneydiamond.com).
Check out my guest blog post at http://www.affairedecoeur.com/blog/. It's called "Eating Your Way to a Satisfying Sex Life."
Charisma Knight also interviewed me for her blog: http://charismaknight.blogspot.com/20....
Good stuff Delaney!
Right now, I'm home sick from work, with some flu-like symptoms, but feel like going the used bookstore might make me feel better, LOL! I'm also staring at empty boxes that I should be filling up as I'm relocating next month, but just don't feel like it right now.

Don't overdo it. Get plenty of rest, and I'll keep my fingers crossed that you'll feel better soon.

I'd been bogged down with Homecoming plans now that's over I've just finished up the second book in what was supposed to be a 3 book series but might turn into 4 not sure yet. Noah's story he appeared in White Wedding. And I'm also editing something to send to a new publisher and starting something new next week. Did I mention I need an extra hour in the day? LOL

Have a wonderful day! ;D

I just submitted my manuscript titled "Time Heals" the second novel in the "Men of Adonis" series to publishing.

It's been a rough end of the week for me but it seems to have ended on a high note!
I went in to one of my new fave used bookstores to see my book on the local author shelf! So cool. I took a pic to put on my Facebook and series page and I will be having a book signing there in the near future, not only for that book but for my whole print backlist. I'm nervous yet excited because when I was a kid, I was a bookstore junkie and always dreamed of what it would be like to see my book on the shelf. Sitting there with the postcards and bookmarks I made, I couldn't be more proud.
I also grabbed some new titles that sound really awesome. This last time I refrained from buying because I want to get the reading pile waaay down before I binge buy again but I did make up a nice wishlist!
Hope everyone is doing well. I couldn't wait to share the news. :-)

I hope I get a chance to get to the library and find some Anne Stuart books and other contemporary books, before I head out to vacation soon.
