Things That Rightfully or Not Bug Me
I don't go looking for trouble and I try to respect other peoples views and religions and whatnot. The problem is that this idea has become more and more one sided. Being PC seems to mean you have to cave to ideas to which you truly do not believe just to keep the peace. I will NOT do this. Respect has to be mutual across all lines. No matter a persons religion, color, sexual preference, income status, and the list goes on. Why would anyone WANT to be treated differently? If a person or group of people are demanding special treatment because they see themselves as different then they need a serious reality check. Wake up and join the real world! It's not always pretty but it's life and you're welcome to live yours with the rest of us but no one is going to give you special treatment in the process.
Stand up for your beliefs! Not everyone will agree with you always but isn't that what makes life so much fun? That we are all unique!!!
Have you received an official welcome to the group Stacey Lynn? If not then Welcome. If you have then welcome again. :)
People who turn on their blinker at the last second.People who tell you how much is in their bank account when their card is denied.
When someone clips/tears their fingernails in public and leaves them on the floor.
Someone who "snopes" everything you say and ruins it.
Spitting. Especially on concrete.
Cars that don't turn right during a right-turn green arrow.
Dog owners who don't pick up their dog's poop.
People who pee on the toilet seat and leave it there (this may be a girl thing?)
Best Buy employees.
I would prefer that people "snope" me, because that means they aren't gullible. Actually, I would prefer it if they snoped all the forwarded email before they send it on to me. Come to think of it, I haven't been receiving that many forwards anymore. I think my friends have finally got the message that 99.99% of them are fake because I fire every one of them back with a link to Snopes.
People who don't use correct grammar.Finding stuff like French fries on the floor of a public bathroom.
Listening to people who think they can sing, but really can't.
Teasing people who have no way of knowing or understanding what you say about them.
Prejudice in general.
I hate the chain mail and most of the forwards I get. It's just junk that wastes time I could use for TC.
For the record, almost everything I have said was correct. But a friend of mine feels the need to always double check what I say. Then again, she looks worse off because I'm usually don't believe that crap. It's the fact that she does it that bugs me!
Unless Allison goes back and deletes her comment!
But for reals, some people have memories like steel traps and will attempt to point out to you something you said 10 years ago and hold you to it. So people who have acquaintances like this often find themselves saying, "for the record...." because they know it will come back to haunt them.

That's probably true. I didn't say it until I met her. If I say "it is sunny outside," she says, ""well, there's a thin cloud over there, so technically it's cloudy right now."
Another example is "it's cold in here" and she will respond with something about the exact temperature and the degree at which the average person considers it "cold" and so therefore, I am not cold, I am chilled.
One of the women who quilts with us calls everyone "my love", "my sweetheart", "my darling". It grates on my nerves unbelievably so. What really bugs me is that I don't say anything because I'm afraid I'll hurt her feelings.
when i catch someone looking at someone else and grimaces ex. yesterday at Ralphs the bagger (an older orange tanned blond) gave some customer the worst most disgusted look ever when the customer wasn't looking so i stuck my tongue out at her
People who cannot understand how they played any role whatsoever of any kind ever in the bad things that happen/ed to them!!!!! I know this is all of us at least some times, but I still can't get it to stop bugging me.
It bugs me too, Youndyc. I catch myself doing it sometimes, but I try hard to stay aware of my part in what happens in my own life.

Lol. Not bovvered Gail? Good.
This shouldn't bug me, but it does: wailing babies in restaurants. I know people with babies need a meal out, and who can blame the baby, but it still rattles my nerves. I want one of the parents to pick up the babe and take it outside.

Scout wrote: "This shouldn't bug me, but it does: wailing babies in restaurants. I know people with babies need a meal out, and who can blame the baby, but it still rattles my nerves. I want one of the parents..."Three choices for new parents:
1. Eat at home or at a friend's house.
2. Hire a sitter so you can go out.
3. If the baby starts crying, take her outside to calm/soothe her. Come back in when she's quiet again.
These are the three strategies we used and I like to believe that other restaurant patrons appreciated them.
Confession: I enjoy it when babies cry on planes.
Partly because it blocks out the other plane noises that are annoying me (sibilant talkers usually). Partly because I know there's some jagoff on the plane, like a CEO or toxic bachelor, who is being driven crazy by it.

Ha! I don't even need to see the link to see Catherine Tate.
I had a customer who left her baby unattended and then he fell 3 feet to the ground and the mother wasn't embarrassed nor did she take the screaming baby outside. I felt so bad for the baby...So, unattended babies on unstable surfaces bugs me.
