Phil | 11837 comments You're welcome!

The other two people I ride for are my sister and step-sister.

kogijiki (covered in mud) (kogijiki) | 235 comments Well may your riding bring us all new research results and dare I say a cure? :)

Thank you Phil for doing fund raisers. Long ago I used to do them too but for diabetes. I walked tho no bikes for me.

Scout (goodreadscomscout) | 3594 comments You seem so social, Alice - giving advice, joining support groups, fund raisers, etc. Yet your profile is set to private.

Four, actually, if you count Lori and me.

kogi, I hate to tell you, but even with MS cognitive problems, I had to serve on a jury.

kogijiki (covered in mud) (kogijiki) | 235 comments Ehhh >.< In his letter to the court my Doc said it was my exhaustion and the medication I have to take for it that in his opinion would make me a bad juror.

We'll see...you say MS here and everyone knows what it is as everyone here knows someone (or three) with it. We'll see tomorrow.

Sometimes I am social and sometimes I am private. Mood swings? sometimes I run off and hide for months..depends on my health I guess.

kogijiki (covered in mud) (kogijiki) | 235 comments I get that completely Alice! *hugs*

Okay, stupid rant. The jury duty I've been stressed about? Hubby read the thing I was sent today and went "This is for Denver county! You aren't even eligible to serve! Now we have to go or you will be in contempt...sheesh..." They sent it to the right address but I am in Jefferson county. If I had been able to read I would have caught that. Fucking vertigo >.< I feel so stupid.

Don't feel bad. I am similar, its very hard to read some things. It can be so confusing. I have "brain fog" from environmental illness so my doctor immediately wrote me an excuse saying with my MCS my brain would be in such a fog I would be unable to focus. He is right.

Thanks for understanding.
alice who sometimes falls down the rabbit hole

kogijiki (covered in mud) (kogijiki) | 235 comments I am all for rabbit holes...I use mine often!

And I am not even on a border so this is just stupid. Reminds self to make hubby read anything legal. >.<

message 711: by [deleted user] (new)

I have to get my hubby to read anything legal also. I may read and think I understand it just fine but somehow read it all wrong. That is one reason doing quiz makes me feel better very often as I feel I am losing my memory at times. I do load iron. There is not enough for hemochromatosis but about 5 or 6 times more than I should have.

Be kind to yourself. Its a habit you need to cultivate.

message 713: by Jammies (new)

Jammies *hugs kogi* I'm sorry you're feeling stupid, but yay for no jury duty! Hey, I'll read for you if you'll remember for me! ;)

Grocery stores with dirty conveyor belts gross me out. Sticky or wet spots. In the olden days the cashiers used to get out a cloth and some cleaner and wipe down the belts. I try to place my items on the clean spots.

message 715: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) The clean spots just look clean.

No, you shouldn't. Nice use of coprophagous in a sentence though. That's a vivid picture.

The mother-diss is a no-no. Sounds like he needs a punch in the neck (or a kick in the bean bags).

message 728: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Amber said bean bags.

How dare that scum-sucking, bottom-feeding, coprophagous, nouveau riche prima donna dare call my mama lazy and incompetent? He needs to be run over with a car.
