i am so pumped for these books i can not wait :)
Oh my goodness I am sooooo happy! I was kind of sad that there was only going to be one more book, but I'm absolutely thrilled that she going to have two others, besides CoFA. ^_^

That's the one Jace was making out with when Clary walked in right? There was something about her that gave me that impression for some reason.
Yeah. She said she thought Simon was cute...I think I thought she was gay, but I can't remember why. I think it's interesting. I want to see more of Aline, she seems interesting.
how did so many people not get that she was gay?! sorry but i've heard a LOT of people say that they had no clue she was gay!! she clearly said in CoG she was experimenting with Jace to see if she was into boys
I just didn't get it... I mean, it didn't hint at all that she was gay. When she said she was experimenting, I thought she mean the bad boy type, not boys in general. Hey, I was just more worried about Jace and Clary's realtionship. And then the other times I read it, I was telling Jace that he was an idiot, and I wasn't really paying that much attention to Aline. ^_^
haha that's what most people say! that they were more worried about Jace & Clary's relationship :)

And then, after Aline said Jace wasn't her type:
"I don't think I've ever heard a girl say that before," said Simon. "I thought Jace was the kind of guy who was everyone's type."
"I thought so too," Aline said slowly, "which is why I kissed him. I was trying to figure out if any guy is my type."
Now I get it. I guess I just read it over so quickly that I missed it. Hope that helps anyone who was confused.

Oh, ok. I get it now. I just thought she meant she wasn't sure if she was into "the bad boy type" and when she said "I was trying to figure out if any guy is my type" I thought she was sort of giving up on finding the right guy. Like maybe she'd been dating different kinds of guys for a while and couldn't see herself being into any of them.
Yeah, that's what I thought, but then I read it over and it made much more sense.
