I've heard a lot of crazy, outlandish, and obscene things regarding this cult classic, but have yet to come close to finding a copy for a 'decent' price.' Is it worth paying $40 for? Because that's the least I have found it for. It is however, being rereleased in February of 2011, with a brand new publisher in trade paperback form. Are people as thrilled as me?!?

oh and tressa, i know i'm not your favorite, haha, BUT I just received 'the summer i died' in the mail!!! i can't wait to read it, and i love getting books from independent publishing companies.
and 'pilo family circus' i bought a few weeks back because of you, but this whole 'IT' book by stephen king has been killing me, I'm slacking. I can't wait to start these two!

Bryan, no hard feelings. You just sort of came on strong out of the starting gate and scared me a little. :-) I don't hold grudges and hope that no one does to me, either. None of us is perfect. Those are two fantastic books. Glad I could recommend them to you. You'll enjoy them immensely. TSID is short and brutal. Ooh, read it first!
no, not at all. i'm not scary, well, only on saturdays when i kill people, but that's neither here nor there. i will, and i will let you know how they are, i can usually tell when i'm going to like a book, and i know i will like TSID
