Can't find it...

I need help... I cannot find two parts that my sister and I are looking for, maybe someone can help.

1. Roger mentions he watches Jamie and Claire as to how married couples act. He said he encountered them in the dairy shed. I can't remember what book it's in.

2. Jamie lights a candle for Geneva (and I think his mother). I can't remember if that is in the Lord John books or the Outlander series.

dont know about first one but when he lights candle for Geneva and his mother I believe its in beggining of Voyager

But Geneva doesn't die until more towards the middle...

I am listening to it so I am lost to where exactly it is, I just know it was in Voyager going back and forth between his past and hers, the reason I refer to it as the beggining is because the book didn't feel developed to me without Clair and Jamnie being together:D, everything before they met is like Epilogue to me

It's in Fiery Cross that Roger talks about Jamie and Claire's marriage. I can't remember about the candle.

in Voyager that scene you are looking is either in chapter 15 or 16. I know Geneva Dies at the end of Chapter 15 and Chapter 16 is called Willie and its when he leaves for Scotland, however I can not pinpoint exact location of candle scene

Jamie did go to confession with Ian and he talked about the spider. Do you think it was then?

When Roger finds Jamie and Claire in the dairy shed - that is in Fiery Cross, about 3/4 of the way in (towards the end).

When Jamie lights a candle for Geneva - it's definately in the Outlander series, though not sure where!

I think the candle part for Geneva was in Voyager, when Jamie was leaving Helwater, right before he baptized Willie. He brought Willie up to his loft in stables to give him farewell present and child saw his things on the floor and asked him what they were used for, he explained to him how he lights candles to remember people who died. He told him how he lights candle for his wife and then thought to himself how he sometimes does it for Geneva too, but didn't say it aloud to the boy. I think that was the only time he mentioned it, but I'm not totally sure.
