willaful Is there a way to combine books when an author originally wrote a title using one name and then the same book was republished under a different name?

Also, is this the correct author format? It lists both names: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/32...

That book is a good example of our best workaround. You can see the pen-name/original pub name is listed as primary, with the second name listed as secondary.

(Depending, you may wish to switch the order of those two for specific books.)

Edit: Like this one, actually, because of the many reprints: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/30...

willaful So switch in order to combine? That was my first thought, but it's so easy to screw things up. :-)

Yup, just use the little arrows on the book's edit page.

willaful Oh, I hadn't known about those. Thanks for the tip. There are a lot of these for this author, but I think I can take care of them.

Yell if you need a hand. :)

willaful I think it's all done. [phew:]

Is it just me, or does every other edit or so lead to finding another mistake? I've branched out in about five different directions since starting this. I've given up even bothering to contact Amazon about their mistakes. :-\

Brian (furicle) | 23 comments You can contact Amazon about their mistakes? Didn't know that, but it would be a Sysuphian job I suspect...
