Welcome Willow!I'm back ladies! The past few years have been a crazy joyride of pleasurable chaos! All my reading was for fact and reading for pleasure was unheard of. However, my HP library is growing out of control and now that my daughter is almost 1, I AM making the time to read.
Happy New Years!!

I've read somewhere that romance sales skyrocket when something bad is happening eg. 9/11 No matter how good life is, I think Escapism is essential...so it goes to figure that it's even more essential when life isn't so good! Hope life gets easier but that you still read lots for the pure pleasure of it!
Hi everyone,I'm a brand newbie to the group, but certainly not to this category of romance. My addiction started when I was in my teens! I'm an Aussie and although I read all the Presents M&B authors, my fav Aussie authors include Trish Morey, Carol Marinelli and Annie West. (Have met all three ladies and they are simply lovely. Also had a huge fan girl moment last August at the Romance Writers of Australia conference and met Susan Stephens and Carole Mortimer)
I'm not a regular subscriber to the Presents line - just tend to see titles in the supermarket and buy them, so some months may go past without having time to get there.I'll be keen to see what others read and enjoy so I can zoom in on those titles and don't miss the ones that appeal.
Happy reading everyone!
Samantha

Hi, I'm jingles. I love Harlequin Romance books--all lines (Presents, Blaze, etc). I used to read them all the time, but had gotten away from them for many years.
When I joined the NBRC Tower Team challenge, one of my team members was Hina, and I would see all these wonderful updates come across my feed each day. Sure enough, I started reading them again.
So, thanks to Hina for getting me back on track with the Harlequin books.
One of my goals in the near future is to delve into the Mills and Boon books. I've never read any of those, but want to get started soon.
I did discover this wonderful website recently, that is helpful in tracking down some of the older books. Just in case it might be helpful to anyone else, here is the link:

I'm glad to be part of the group, and I'm looking forward to reading and discussing books with everyone.
Hi Jingles! Welcome to the group. Glad you found us! My favourite HP authors are Sarah Morgan, Annie West, Abby Green, Olivia Gates ( Desire Range) Michelle Condor.
Looking forward to discussing books with you too!

My mum used to be a hearty Harlequin reader (apologies, it was called Mills & Boons then) and I never understood the fascination. It was an early Saturday morning while out doing the garage sales did I finally cave. You can imagine my surprise! I naturally assumed it was all based on candlelight, sparkling wine and soft kisses. OK back then it was but it's drastically changed nowadays. Now I'm a hopeless romantic who loves to idle her spare time away with a good book, a cuppa tea (2 sugars please) and a comfy pillow.

Hello friends in love with all romance novels but I tend to read HP most. As any lover I have a few favorites I love the mediterrranean men Greeks Italians spaniard yum
You know I recently started reading more Sheiks. I really like Olivia Gates and Sharon Kendrick so far. Do you have a favorite?
I absolutely LOVE Olivia Gates and Sarah Morgan. Sharon Kendrick is ok but doesn't have the intensity of the orhers, esoecially Olivia.
I agree on intensity. but sometimes I.don't want intense especially if my reading time is short. when I read intense books I hate to put it down. when the book is sugar sweet easier to pause and come back to.

Hi everyone I've recently got back into HP (or Mills & Boon as I know them in the UK where I am) and have quickly become addicted again! Glad to see I'm not the only one!
Like a lot of people on here (I've noticed) I got into them as a teenager. I just love the escapism and romance. Penny Jordan is probably my favourite author along with Carole Mortimer and Jessica Steele. Would be happy to discover new authors and get recommendations though xxx
Welcome i am a totalPenny Jordan fan as well. I also started reading as a preteen kid.(70's) I used to steal my greatgrand mothers books. It was a very long time ago. When i was about 16-17 yrs old Grandma Tucker (my great granma) had to go to assisted living. Then i would go there and read harlequin books to her. Of course i like you went away from them when life started getting crazy. Then about 6 years ago when visting my Mom i read one of hers (romance nut too). I was hooked again now harlequin (mainly HP) is all i read. I need more happy endings in life.
Thank you Harlequin
