Welcome, Dee! I actually lurked around here a lot before starting to post. I think I became more vocal when we started the monthly threads. I love having others to talk to about HPs (as well as Blazes and Desires)!
Hi KateThanks very much.
I am looking forward to being able to discuss the Harlequins with like minded people. I do read a lot of other material too (My hubby says I consume reading material like a locust ha ha) and enjoy discussing them with other friends on GR but haven't had the opportunity or chance to discuss my Harlequins - Until now that is! :)
Thanks Kouk.I am sure that I will.......I love reading my Harlequins and I have loads on my shelf waiting to be read.
Hi everyone! I joined this group about a week ago, but have been a member of GR for over a year now. I used to read HP's almost exclusively when I was younger (my Grandma gave me my first one when I was a teen and was instantly hooked. In fact most of my HP's came from her!) However, life got in the way and I am sad to say that I quit reading HP's for many years.
Lately I have rediscovered my love of HP's. I bought myself a Kobo ereader, signed up for the monthly HP ebook subscription and have been a reading HP fool for the past month! : )
Oh, how I have missed them!

Thank you all for the warm welcome! I look forward to finding some time (too busy reading haha) to post more!
Welcome to the group Sheila, you have found a really nice home here with us,the girls here ROCK!!!!!!!
I've recently rediscovered Harlequin and M&B because of my late-teenage daughter, and find that they are still great for de-stressing from the "real" world - fun reading. It's interesting to compare the changes from when I first read them (and stopped) to now. Some storylines are just too unbelievable, and my daughter literally throws them against a wall.I'm amazed that some of my fave authors from then are still writing, and pleased at the work of the new ones.
I've started reading back issues and really like the work of Alison Fraser. She seems to have only published 15 books and I can't find any work of hers later than 2004 "The Boss's Secret Mistress". Does anyone know what's happened to her?
Thanks.

Welcome, Christine. I haven't seen any new books by Alison Fraser in a while. I hope she's still out there, even if she's not writing.
Hi everyone! I am a huge fan of HP books. I started reading them during my teen's in the 80's and was immediately hooked. I have been a compulsive reader ever since I learned to read, and have read many different genre's, though now I exclusively read romance and mainly read HP. Once when I was younger, my parents even put me on restriction from reading as this was the only effective punishment for me. Funny, I know but very true.
I took a 3 year hiatus from HP that ended this summer and have vowed never to torture myself like that again. I'm addicted and freely admit it. HP's are like my chocolate...
Welcome, Tracy. You've come to the right place to feed your addiction. Expect to gain a lot of HP induced weight from hanging out here!
Hi! I'm Etty from Indonesia. This is new for me as I'm just a new Harlequin reader. I like Harlequin Presents very much! I really love the stories.

Welcome, Tracy and Etty. I did an HP hiatus for a couple of years a while ago, and when I picked them back up, I could appreciate them and realized that I missed out on the HPs very much.

Hey Chris..."
Thanks much. You all are great.
Hi! I was just wondering if there was a proper place to post a question about an older book. I'm looking for a book I read a long time ago and I can't remember the title, just what it was about. Thanks, Sari

Hi Sari.d. As a matter of fact, there is a whole separate thread just for that particular question. You can post your question here.
Ladies here have encyclopedic knowledge of these books, I'm sure someone can help you out.
