It's be pretty quite for the past two/three weeks with most of the authors and I at Romance Writers of American Conference, but I'll be back in Barbados on Friday and things should perk up again.

Welcome to the group Wayne!
Oh, I forgot. Along with hosting the HP area on eharlequin.com, I also host the other passion books (Blaze, and Desire) as well as the romantic suspense area (Intigue and Romantic suspense. I also write for Harlequin Kimani Romance, the African-American series line. My favorite HP authors are Abby Green, Annie West, Cathy Williams, Lynn Graham, Maysie Yates and my more...thought I do have a preference for the suspense ones, but there is still something very addictive about the HP books. And thanks for the welcome, Danielle.

Hi Alexis. I have been in contact with Lady D to start one as a sort of modified monthly book club.

Thanks, Lululemon.
Hi from a new member.I was excited to find this group today. I started reading HP's when I was a teenager in the late 80's and continued through the early 90's. Then I fell away and only read historicals or a long while.
Lately I've refound HP's and am in love again. I like to read 1 or 2 in between other books because they are a quick and easy escape. I'm reading a lot more now since I got my Nook Color.
Welcome Tracie! I too am a recent HP born-again and have been gobbling them up lately. Good to have you join us to share the love.

That sounds absolutely lovely. Well, I tie a cyber friendship band on all you lovely HP fans out there.
Hey everyone! I joined the group a few days ago but haven't participated in a few discussions yet! Anw, I love the HP line more than any other line. I mean, for me at least, I find all the best books, the one that I'm completely crazy about there! Oh yes, about me, I'm 16 and I read way more than I'm supposed to! Especially during exams... I read 2 HP books just the other day instead of studying:(
Welcome to the group Flame.I too started reading HP'S at a very young age[12],so much older now[lol].

Hi Flame. Glad to have you. I read HPs when I was your age, as well. The HP books are great stress-relievers.
Welcome, Flame. Ah, yes, the procrastination bug. I'm very familiar with it myself. HPs are definitely no help in that department!
Good afternoon fellow Harlequin readers,I am a new member and am so glad to have others who are addicted to HP's. I am probably one of the oldest members (78yrs) and have had all of the Harlequins at one time. My husband and son both tried to make me feel ashamed about them.. It didn't work.I have been buying the very old copies by mail and are rereading them. So happy to read what others are saying about various books. Ginny
Welcome Ginny, good to have you join us. There is no age limit for romance appreciation and your son and husband were probably jealous of the uber good looking alpha heroes in the HP novels :P.

Hi Ginny. We are so glad you joined. I've had plenty of people give me a hard time about my reading choices. This is me not caring at all! :)
WELCOME Ginny,so glad to have you join us here. There is a great group of Ladies here, so you will fit right in.
Thanks for the welcome! Between gardening and jigsaw puzz I rea at least 2 HPs daily between other books. They really make one feel better. I is a very good escape. Ginny

Hi, I am new here. I found this site while searching for the title of a book (still no luck). Anyhow, I love to read and devour books. I really enjoy HP but I think I like some of the older ones better then the new ones.I no longer own any HP's but check them out at the library. I can get addicted to reading which isnt good as I am a student right now.Can you help-I don't remember the title or characters. Here is the plot. He wants a baby so he hires this woman and gives her like 15,000. The woman agrees but for whatever reason changes her mind and tricks her naive cousin. I think she tells her cousin its a secretary job and only gives her part of the money. When the cousin arrives at her new job in a new country (I think the hero is Spanish or Italian) she finds out what he wants and refuses, but he keeps her captive. He ends up marrying her because she is a virgin and he considers that a bonus. At some point he is injured by a bull and she gives him blood....thats all I recall. I hope it makes since because I really can't remember the name and it is me driving crazy. Also I think the cover has a woman in a yellow dress and tiger might be part of the title.

Welcome to the group, Brandia. You've certainly come to the right place for finding old HP books whose titles you can't remember. There are quite a few ladies here with encyclopedic knowledge of HP novels, especially the vintage ones. You might want to post your question again in the "help finding books" folder as more people may see your question and increase the chances of your getting an answer. There is a separate thread just for cases like this where you can't remember the name of a particular book. You can see that thread here.

Hello **Dee waves like mad woman!**.....only just found this group and as I read a lot of HP HB & HD thought I would join. Will admit that I am not great at chatting as don't usually have much time and what precious time I do have I obviously like to spend reading but I do sneak on GR during the day (although not many of my friends around due to time difference as I am in the UK) and try to catch up with books, reviews, groups and what my friends are up to.
As a fan I will definately try and find time to pop into this group to catch up and if I have time to chat.
Hi Dee! Warm and fuzzy welcome and we're glad you joined us. You can be as vocal as you want, just look around or chirp in once and again- it's all good. Anyway you participate (or not) the awesome ladies here will sure make you feel welcome.
