Chloe
It's fun to be considered an "old timer" in this, lol:-) Hope you'll find something you'll like in the following:-) Since you don't have that many books on your TBR, I'll recommend more books in the second part, lol.. Thanks for your recs, I'll probably end up rereading The Bride and the Beast:-) It's been a while!
From your TBR
The Princess Bride by William Goldman: This is one of my fave "classics" for me.. There's everything.. Princesses, pirates, princes, swordsmen, giants, crazy Sicilian poisoners, you name it:-) It's great fun, and I still reread it every year!
The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks: this one made me cry more than the movie did, lol, but it was an amazing book that goes to show that sometimes first loves are the last..
The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas: this is another classic that I reread every year.. Less romance, and more revenge in this book: Edmond Dantès has lost everything, and is finally getting his revenge on all those who've betrayed him..
New to you
Fairest of Them All by Teresa Medeiros: I noticed that you enjoyed The Bride and the Beast by TM, and this book is one of my faves by her: it had a bit of a fairy-tale feel for me, and the ending was very sweet.. I love all her books:-)
Lord of Scoundrels by Loretta Chase: Hilarious and amazing book, whith a kind of Beauty and the Beast feel to it.. Dain was a character, and Jessica was woman enough to tame him:-) Another of my favorite authors:-)
Lord of the Fading Lands by CL Wilson: the first book in a 5-book fantasy romance series that is the best I've ever read: It is soooo worth reading, and the books just get better and better: Rain is such a tortured old soul, and Ellie is this sweet innocent girl with such a mysterious past: Wilson does an amazing job of bringing this new world to life.. I can't recommend it enough!!
Night Pleasures by Sherrilyn Kenyon: I don't know if you're into PNR, but this is a great series.. I would start with this one, and if you like it, go on and read the prequel Fantasy Lover..
Dark Lover by JR Ward: Once again, no idea if you're into PNR, but the Black Dagger Brotherhood will suck you into their world in a heartbeat!! Sexy warrior vampires find their mates (one book for each couple), and the stories are amazing:-) finished 8/30
Beyond the Highland Mist by Karen Marie Moning: Highland warriors, time travelling modern women,... What's not to like?? Another great series (though each book is a stand alone)!
Beastly by Alex Flinn: A very fun and cute modern YA retelling of Beauty and the Beast, and since the movie should be coming out in the US this weekend, I'd recommend reading the book first:-)
Hope you find something you'll enjoy!!!
