Everytime somebody posts a reply in here I rush to see what it is thinking someones gunna put "yay its on" and then im hugely dissapointed all over again =(

and im definately with the obsessive stalker crowd, KC's freebies section is my homepage >.<

Having already finished HtM, my opinion is that we won't see the Pritkin shorts until after HtM is officially released. I believe it would spoil some of the plot development in HtM. The shorts would be excellent as backstory to explain more of what we learn in HtM, and would more appropriately be released after...I just hope not too long after.

On a completely different topic, I've read Rachel Morgan as well! Trent's not bad, but I was rooting more for Al (now that Kirsten's dead and all) but hey. Ahahah I swear I've already read all good series' out there. Which is why I'm depressed. I need some Pritkin love. Badly. And I cyber talk to much... Just ignore my ramblings, I'm crazy... Or well I'm going insane ahahhaha... Bye! I'm gonna go check K.C's website now (again)

You guys all make me feel better here. I was thinking I was crazy obsessed and it's great to find like minded people. So, while I'm going through withdrawal here I'm hoping that I can get some help here. What else can I read to help in the mean time?
I've gone through the Sookie Stackhouse (my all time favorite with Cassie Palmer coming in a very close second here), Racheal Morgan, Night Huntress (half way through), Mercy Thompson and for chits and giggles threw in the Mortal Instruments series. What else can you guys recommend to help me bide the time until we are graced with more Pritkin?
And does anyone else think that Denis Leary's voice would be perfect for Pritkin? Am I crazy? That's how he sounds in my head.
Check out these authors:
Ilona Andrews
Suzanne McLeod
Stacia Kane
Diana Rowland
Kevin Hearne
Mark Del Franco
Jocelynn Drake
Kalayna Price
Richelle Mead
Jennifer Estep
Seanan McGuire
These are urban fantasy authors. There is another whole list of paranormal romance authors if you prefer that.

HAHAHAHAHA!!! That's so funny! :D I think it does say somewhere that Pritkin has a slight English accent, but yeah I could imagine Angry Dennis Leary sounding a bit like Angry Pritkin!
That's a great list Enjee has put together. The Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews is my other favourite UF series, so if you haven't given it a go, I'd definitely recommend it.

The first 2 series eventually reseult in HEA but take a while the rest don't make relationships a significant focus of the story:
Briggs Patricia
Vaughn, Carrie
Pratt T A (Tim)
Richardson, Kat
Weldon, Phaedra
Acevedo, Mario
Armintrout, Jennifer
Baker, Nancy
Bowen, Gary
Collins Nancy A
Hendee Barb
Huff Tanya
Huston, Charlie
Lewis, J F
Newman, Kim
Rardin, Jennifer
Armstrong Kelley
Kittredge, Caitlin
Henry, Mark
Hunter, Faith

Morgan series, happy times come, and I assume there will be some HEA in the end, but thay have to work at it.
And I also have a weakness for delicious men ;) .
Enjee and Tasula, are those lists in order of preference?

Mostly. The first 5 are my enduring favorites that you had not listed in your post. I highly recommend Ilona Andrews.

I loved the Diana Rowland & Faith Hunter books too, and am waiting on the next book in each of these series to drop through my letterbox any day. Jenna Black's Morgan Kingsley series is good too, though maybe not to everyone's taste.

I was thinking of reading the Morgan Kingsley series... so what do you mean by not to everyone's taste?
And I totally agree with Touch the Dark being the weakest...but isn't that with a lot of great series... the first book you have to grit your teeth to get through, and then you fly through the rest of'em cause they are so good. lol

In my not so humble opinion, Curran manages to be both the coolest and the hottest guy in UF!! :) A lot of folks think the first book is the weakest book (much like a lot of people think Touch the Dark is the weakest), so unless you absolutely hate it, stick with it. Kate & Curran's sparky relationship is just a joy!"
I'll most likely give it a try but to be honest the relationship between them holds me back. I'm just not in the mood for another HEA and drama over... 7-8 books when I know in the end they'll end up together. *rolls eyes* But hey, maybe the authors will surprise me. I haven't read it yet so I can't judge it.
Does it have lots of action? Are the sex scenes hot?
That's the cool thing about the Cassie Palmer series, btw. You have sex and love in it but you don't know who'll be her HEA in the end and in this case even no HEA at all is possible.
I think so often you only need to read the blurb for the first book of a UF series and know who'll end up together. That's what bores me.

Basically, these books feature a few S&M scenes, plus some man love. Not everyone likes this kind of stuff, though personally, I thought they were kind of hot!! If you're not bothered by this, then definitely read the series. I enjoyed it.

Although I'm going on about Kate & Curran's relationship, it's actually a fairly small part of the story. Kate & Curran getting together (or not) isn't really the point of the stories (thank god, cos those kind of books bore me shitless!) These are definitely in the Urban Fantasy category, not Paranormal Romance. Sex scenes are few and far between, though sexual chemistry just oozes when Kate & Curran are 'on-screen' together. There's loads of action in the books and Kate is as tough as old boots. They're also really, really funny (does everyone remember the scene where Curran, um, 'interfered' with Kate's office chair!!) There's also an element of mystery about Kate that gets slowly revealed as the books go on, and I love the way that's being done.
OK I'll shut up now cos I could go on and on and bore you to tears! I hope you decide to give them a try :)
You're not boring me, Lannister. It's great to see how much you love that series. I think I'll give it a try.
But that other stuff... S&M... Interesting!
Sorry, for being so off-topic.

I ordered the first KD book and the two Curran books (I know I have to read them later) and it's all your fault, Lannister! :-P
If I like Curran more than my beloved Mircea, I'll blame you.
So, back to Pritkin.

So, back to Pritkin.

If I'm remembering rightly, I think one of the Curran books is four chapters and each chapter is one scene from each of the first four books, written from Curran's POV. So after you read the first book, you could read the first chapter and see it from Curran's side.
Curran and Mircea ... OMG what a choice! Mmmm, a Curran and Mircea sandwich!! Oh god, I need to go lie down ... ;)

:D

Ok, I was just reading the Fever Series by Karen Marie Moning and I thought of you. Lots of fun and you still can't tell by the fifth book if the main guys are really good or bad. And you dont care too much either! Have you read them? I only started them because I had the audiobooks in front of me but I don't regret it one bit.
