How could I not, Danielle? I'll need you all to guide me through her HUGE backlist, lol!

i'm a new fan of Anne Stuart..
so far I've read only two books by her
Ice Storm and The Devil's Waltz
even though I only read two of them, I instantly fell in love with how AS creates her heroes
they're so dark, dangerous, yet so loving when they want to
is there anyone can suggest any of her books?
thanks.. I appreciate it^^

So Danielle, if I've read To Love a Dark Lord, The Devil's Waltz, Ruthless and I'd like to stick to historicals, which book would you
I completely agree with Willaful's recommendations. But, I'd also add Hidden Honor.
Angels Wings is another favorite. It's set in the 1930s. Loved it!!! Hero is very Robert Mitchum-tough guy-esque.
Don't give up on her contemporaries yet. Do check out her Harlequin books. They are awesome! I've posted reviews for quite a few of them.

2.How did you become an fan of Anne Stuart? I saw the high ratings for her books on amazon and decided to give her a shot
3.What are your favorite books of hers? I've only read two so far(To Love a Dark Lord and Ritual Sins), but both were amazing!
4.Why do you like Anne Stuart? The darkness of her stories

I don't know if I posted here before, or just lurked, but I'm Anne Stuart's editor on RUTHLESS and the other Rohan books. It's so great to see everyone in fan mode over her. (Especially since from the editing desk you don't always get to see the results of people digging her stuff!) I think she's pretty great, and so I want everyone else to, too.
Just thought I'd note that the House of Rohan books are actually stretching to a fourth book now: SHAMELESS comes out in July 2011. She's still busy writing it, but it sounds *awesome*, so send your good vibes her way. In the meanwhile, if you haven't checked out the prequel "The Wicked House of Rohan."
It's a pain in the butt to find, so here's the link: http://ebooks.eharlequin.com/B484580B...
Okey dokey. Keep on reading--she's just getting warmed up!
Best,
Adam

Thanks so much for the news, Adam! I am super-excited. Please pass on to her that there are quite a few out there who love her books like crazy! As long as she keeps writing, I'll keep reading!

So sorry for the confusion!
(And I'll pass along your kind words to her!)
Adam

And I'm thrilled about her upcoming foray into paranormal with

2.Was going through a "spinster"-driven historical phase, and happened across "the Devil's Waltz". Loved it, so tried Black Ice - and was blown away. Since then, have gotten hold of 53 of her books, and have read about 30-something of them.
3. No, you can't possibly ask for a favourite. Once the list gets above 10, you realise there's no point. Wil admit a slight preference for the more recent suspense/angst/racy titles (Ice/Nightfall/etc.), but I adore her historicals (Dark Lord/Rose/Lord of/Lady Fortune) and would still rather read any of her earlier stuff than almost anything else.
4.There's nothing like a hero you don't know whether to slap or kiss. And I love that their redemption always centres around ther herione (especially when they only just barely redeem themselves)!
Thank you for establishing this group - don't know any other fans and could cry that there are so many of us. Hopefully enough to keep her writing until her fingers sieze up! :)

2.How did you become a fan of Anne Stuart? Read her historicals years ago.
3.What are your favorite books of hers? I think it might be "Ruthless". I need to re-read historicals and start reading her contemporaries to be sure.
4.Why do you like Anne Stuart? Her writing is incredible without being too flowery or over-descriptive. Her stories are intense but leave you satisfied.

My name is Jessica.
I became a fan of Anne Sturat after I started readign her Ice series. I was checking out Lady Danielle's books one day and came across them. I haven't looked back since.
Right now I would say

I absolutely love AS's writing style and she absolutely writes some of the best characters I have ever read.

I would really like it if she would switch to the third person POV in her next Fallen book, due out in 2012. The first one, Raziel, was in first person for both Raziel and Allie, and it was distracting and uncomfortable. The second book, Demon, moved to third person for Azazel but retained the first person for Rachel. Still too distracting and uncomfortable. So I'm hoping that she moves everything to third person for the next one and going forward.
I love her edgy heroes. No one does the gamma male better than Stuart/Douglas!

Diane, check the Paranormal Romance folder. There is a general thread for the Fallen series, and threads for both books.

2--I saw the download for the House of Rohnan prequal and read that--WOW--had to buy all rest of the series as they came out and found a couple of older novels I liked--I've only ready the historical ones as that is what I like
3--I would have to say "Reckless"
4--her charactors are very compelling--they may be flawed, but you want them to find happiness.
