But they wouldn't have shown Cato being torn apart. The part I found most gory was the part where Thresh bashed in Clove's head. Other then that, I didn't think it was all that gory.

Well, when Cato drags himself and mouths 'please' to Katniss to shoot him, he's not exactly clean, now is he?

many movies make similar scenes not bad, basically they could show the mutts circle him and one lunge at him and biting showing some blood then the screen would alternate to Katniss and Peeta up on the cornucopia watching with fear with Cato's dying screams in the background., and maybe show the aftermath.

I really think they'll do a good job. That director is amazing, and it sounds like he's trying to make it as accurate as possible. It's tricky to change a book to a movie, but I think it'll be done well.
