I just finished Sonoma Rose by Jennifer Chiaverini. I've loved the series but this one wasn't one of my favorites.
Tomorrow I'll start one of our February reads. Who's with me?

Just finished the first story in An Amish Love: Healing Hearts/What the Heart Sees/A Marriage of the Heart (Inspirational Amish Anthology this one was by Kelly Long. Loved it as I like most her stories! Now onto Kathleen Fuller's story in the book! This is a great Valentine's Day read!
I was going to start A Wedding Quilt for Ella last evening, but my friend said that she had no books to read & she'd already finished doing her taxes. I couldn't leave her with nothing to read, so I handed her the book and promised the rest of the series to her on Sunday.
Guess I'll start Homespun Bride tonight.

Right now I'm reading Like Dandelion Dust by Karen Kingsbury. It has some heart-wrenching moments but I'm also finding it a bit too preachy for my liking. I think I have about 100 pages to go, so I'll see what my opinion is on it once I'm finished.

I liked it but didn't love it, but I'll have to try some of her other books. Her series seem to be really popular.
I really should have started reading Pamela: Or, Virtue Rewarded by Samuel Richardson for my new English class but I got distracted by a book from NetGalley, Sunrise Point by Robyn Carr. It's not Christian but it's a sweet, contemporary romance.

Jocelyn wrote: "Rachel wrote: "Right now I'm reading Like Dandelion Dust by Karen Kingsbury. It has some heart-wrenching moments but I'm also finding it a bit too preachy for my liki..."Oh, don't worry, I cried a couple of times too!
I'm going to do a Camille now ;) Right now I'm reading Family Fortunes: Men and Women of the English Middle Class, 1780-1850 by Leonore Davidoff and Catherine Hall. Riveting stuff!

I've discovered that baking while listening to an audio book is bliss lately, so that is a way that I am getting through more actual novels! :)
I just finished reading this book by new author to me "Amish Midwife" had some mystery to it and really liked the story of a baby girl that had been adopted and her journey to find birth parents after death of her adoptive parents.

Just to chime in, I love this series from Mindy and Leslie as well! Can't wait for #3 in the series :)
I just finished An Amish Wedding last night and finished Reunions Can Be Murder today while cleaning and baking. Now I am listening to Sense and Sensibility and hope to finish up When Sparrows Fall in the next few days!
Right now I'm reading 3 books, LOL. I'm working my way through Pamela: Or, Virtue Rewarded by Samuel Richardson for university. This is a loooong book, my Penguin copy is 500+ pages. It's often credited as being the first real novel in the English language, published in 1740. I'm reading it in chunks as the story itself is readable, it's just pretty repetitive and the main character has a habit of whining a little bit too much for my liking! So I'm also reading Words Spoken True by Ann H. Gabhart on my Kindle, which is looking like it's going to a great book. It's appealing to the history geek in me. And I'm listening to Distant Shores by Kristin Hannah on audiobook. I've never read any of her books before but I love the gorgeous covers and she sounds like she writes in a similar style to Barbara Delinsky and Diane Chamberlain, two of my favourite general market authors.
I just ordered "The Keeper" for my Kindle today and will read it soon since you are enjoying it so much Anne! Now I can't wait!
I'm reading "The Wonder of Your Love" by Beth Wiseman. I'm only 14 pages into it, but liking it already.

I think I have nearly all of them. Even in hardcover, she's an auto buy for me. Her characters are so deep and the emotion so powerful that I get sucked in and don't come up for days! LOL

Thanks for the votes of confidence for Kristin Hannah, I think I'm going to love her books! Sounds just like my kind of author :) My library only has a couple of her books but I can always use Audible to get hold of some more.
I'm still listening to Distant Shores by Kristin Hannah on audiobook and coming to a close (finally!) with Pamela: Or, Virtue Rewarded by Samuel Richardson for English. I've finished Words Spoken True by Ann H. Gabhart on my Kindle and now I'm on to The Heart's Frontier by Lori Copeland. I'm really enjoying the meld of Amish and Historical, it's worked well in a few books I've read recently.
Finished Homespun Bride by Jillian Hart a few days ago and am now working on The Wounded Heart: An Amish Quilt Novel by Adina Senft.
I have just finished reading Along Wooded Paths by Tricia Goyer. Just about to look through my pile of library books to decide what I will start reading next depending on what needs to be returned first.
I have almost finished A Bride's Flight from Virginia City, Montana by Murray Pura. What a wonderful story!!I had never heard of this author until I saw it on the Fans of Amish Fiction website. I certainly plan to read The Wings of Morning as soon as I can get a copy from our library.
I am starting One Tuesday Morning/Beyond Tuesday Morning by Karen Kingsbury for my neighborhood book club. I can't wait! This will be my first series I have read fron Karen!
I'm about to start Amy Clipston's book "A Life of Joy". I won an autographed copy in one of her contests!
I am now reading the last book in the 9/11 series by Karen Kingsbury, Every Now and Then. This is such a great series!
I've just finished The Heart's Frontier by Lori Copeland and now I'm reading Song of My Heart by Kim Vogel Sawyer.
I finished The Wounded Heart: An Amish Quilt Novel by Adina Senft early Saturday morning and yesterday afternoon I started An Amish Family Reunion by Mary Ellis.
Barbara Ann wrote: "I was going to start A Wedding Quilt for Ella last evening, but my friend said that she had no books to read & she'd already finished doing her taxes. I couldn't leave her with nothi..."I started reading A wedding quilt for Ella last night and so far so good!
Doesn't look like I'll get to read our February group read in February, but I've enjoyed what I have read, so I'm happy.
Barbara Ann wrote: "Doesn't look like I'll get to read our February group read in February, but I've enjoyed what I have read, so I'm happy."I only managed one of our group reads, so I know how you feel. But we keep all the threads open so if you do ever get around to reading it you can always pop your thoughts in at the end of the discussion :)
Just finished reading An Uncommon Grace by Serena B Miller. What a different book, really enjoyed it and found out I really didn't know very much about the Swartzentruber Amish. Interesting!
I just received my copy of Cindy Woodsmall's "The Scent of Cherry Blossoms" in the mail. I can't wait to start reading it =)
I have just finished reading Courting Trouble by Deeanne Gist and about to start reading Deep in the Heart of Trouble by Deeanne Gist.I have also requested March's monthly reads from the library so will read those when they become available.
I'm reading The Expedition of Humphry Clinker by Tobias Smollett for my English Lit class, and Song of My Heart by Kim Vogel Sawyer on my Kindle. And I'm still listening to The Hope of Refuge by Cindy Woodsmall on audiobook.
