Recently, I found a rendition of Bach's Come Sweet Death which eventually becomes blurred as each singer (out of 40-or-so different singers) begins to sing at their own tempo. I found it beautiful, and considering how I am socially suffering (maybe I am being a bit hyperbolic, but I digress...), I just can't stop thinking about it. I love it... >w<
https://youtu.be/MK1UO4AggUQ I actually think this is an accidental masterpiece.

This year I've discovered Remi Wolf and Iniko and I listen to them alot, but I also LOVE Dadi Freyr <3
Well, people are speaking about romanticism, so Chopin's Nocturne in C Minor, Op.48 No.1. >w<
I have been obsessed with ‘the record’ by boygenius at the moment. My favorite song is Not Strong Enough and With You Without Them
My WFH background music has been Shida Shahabi’s album Homes. Moody, cool, easy instrumentals. For funsies, I’ve been loving Cut Worms’s self-titled album that came out this year. Croony, throwback rock-pop.
I listen to many genres of music. Right now though, I’ve been listening to The Smile a lot.To anyone who doesn’t know, it’s Thom Yorke of Radiohead fame and his side project, along with Jonny Greenwood, also from Radiohead, and Tom Skinner. They only have 2 albums so far, but they are both amazing. One just released in January, and I’ve been loving it on repeat since. If you love alternative, you’ll love it too 🙂
My queer playlist of new songs for 2024: ALL THIS LOVE - Emeli Sande // ALWAYS BE MY MAN - Billy Porter & Luke Evans // BOYS BEWARE - Mad Tsai // DEAR LIFE - Grant Knoche & Tayler Bueno // DIZZY - Olly Alexander // DUSK TIL DAWN - Amber Liu // ELECTRIC ENERGY - Ariana DeBose & Boy George // ERAS OF US - Fletcher // GOOD II ME - Vincent // GRAVITY - Michael Johnston // I'M IN LOVE, I'M IN LOVE - Zach Benson // IN THE CITY - Charli XCX & Sam Smith // LAST TWILIGHT - William Jakrapatr // LEAD ME ON - Fletcher // LIGHTHOUSE - Calum Scott // LONLINESS - Pet Shop Boys // LOVE WHO YOU WANT - Jordan Suaste // PEOPLE PRETENDING TO BE YOU - Allen Miller // THE VILLAGE - Wrabl // YOU N ME US [Theme from EIGHTH SENSE] - Wetter //
My playlist is all over the place but right now its mostly Epic the Musical, Dragonforce's Inhuman Rampage album, and the new Stray Kids ATE album.
