WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE VAMPIRE SERIES?

well have yet to read either of those series.....leaving them till winter cause i like to read the longer series then.....but im sure ill love them too!I would have to say....eventhough YA i really liked VA! Riley Jenson!
yes i know that there are were's in Riley and she is half one....but i LOVE quinn so much!!! it makes it more my fav vamp then were!

I have to say......just finished this series next one out early 2011 and it was a good read....so if your looking check it out! i was pleasantly surprised. Charater development great, story line excellent. kept me on my toes waiting and anticipating!!!

Hi ladies. I am new here. I love the Sookie novels and the tv series. I agree Alcide is the best looking thing in the series. That is one fine wolf. Read the series after reading Twilight. It put Twilight series to shame imo. Just got finished reading the BDB series. I totally loved that series too. You guys can have Alcide. I'll take Wrath or Zsadist.

I think Twilight is my favorite teen vamp series. Although, I must say that I really like Richelle Mead's Vampire Academy series. There are so many adult series that I like - J.R. Ward's BDB would probably be my top with several close contenders.

Wow, tough decision. I love Sherrilyn Kenyon's "Dark Hunters." But I adore Kathy Love's "Young Brothers" series. Just read it again and it is fab! I highly rec it.
How did I know if I joined this group there'd be a lot of Twilight discussion? I almost didn't join it just because of that knowledge... lol.... -.-
Doomed, if it makes you feel better I have never read "Twilight." There are so many other fab vamp series out there. I thought it was cool there are lots of threads in this group devoted to those series, so stick around! ;)

Good for you! I don't have an opinion on "Twilight." I think it's cool no matter what vamp series people adore. The only reason I haven't read it is cause I don't read YA. I need lots of hot sex with my vamps. *lusty grin*

I LOVE Lara Adrians Midnight Breed series, JR Wards Black Dagger Brotherhood, Christine Feehan Carpathian series and Jeaniene Frosts Night Huntress series.
I love House of Night by P.C. Cast and i know its not vampire but her Goddess summoning series is hot! i just love PC Cast!

I like the house of night as well but I feel as if P.C Cast is dragging the story on and on and on! It's really getting to me I wish she whould just end it!
Right now! Morganville!This one really got to me more than the other.
I like Southern Vampires and Vampire Academy but I don't feel as kya for them as I feel for Morganville.
It sucks because I have Frostbite, the second VA book, but I don't want to read it until I read the first one, and I can't find a copy of it. :(
