I will be reading both books. I got a copy of Blood Law a few days ago, and as soon as Eternal Kiss comes out I'm going to buy it!

This looks like it's going to be a good month!

Usually at the beginning of the month with all the groups starting new books, I'll have several books going at one time. But one catches my attention and I'll settle on that one. I am at heart a one book at a time girl.

I will try for both of them.....I am listening to audio of "First Drop of Crimson" so will not start EKD until that is finished..... but have already downloaded Blood Law so will start that first

With Eternal Kiss, it shouldn't matter if you haven't read the first. I think they are all supposed to be standalones involving characters in the Night Huntress World, but not having interweaving plots like the parent series.

This is from Frost's website:

"The Night Huntress World novels are “spin-off” books where side characters in the Night Huntress series are now the hero/heroine of their own novels. These books will be stand-alone novels, not the start of a new series, and will be set in current times with their story lines running parallel to the Night Huntress series. More spin-off stories featuring side characters are planned."

So you should be ok to read them unless you're not caught up on the regular NH series w/Cat and Bones.

I am going to try for both, but at least read Eternal Kiss of Darkness. The only problem that I will have is waiting until August to start it!

My copy of Eternal Kiss of Darkness shipped today. I should have it on Wednesday. My only problem then will be figuring out which to read first it, or City of Ghosts by Stacia Kane. I can't wait to read either, but I think City of Ghosts is going to win out, Unholy Magic ends on a cliffhanger. If EKOD was a Cat and Bones book, I might have to reconsider.

I have to say that I cheated and read Blood Law already. I didn't think it was going to win so I got a copy from the library early and then I couldn't hold back my curiosity.

But I enjoyed it so I hope everyone else does too!

I'll be reading Eternal Kiss of Darkness even though I haven't read FDoC (I just can't bring myself to read about Denise).

I took a peak in Blood Law. I'm not sure I'm impressed. I just got Eternal Kiss of Darkness today.
I only read three of the Night Huntress series. The romance was good. The mystery was good. The violence factor did me in.

Like Sarah I am crazy about Jeaniene`s characters and writing-can`t wait
Sarah thanks for telling us about them being stand alones,tho I have to read each as it comes out.

The next Cat & Bones book, This Side of the Grave, comes out 2/22/2011.

I just finishedEternal Kiss of Darkness And I really enjoyed it but I love all of her books. I am Going to try very hard to fit Blood Law it with all my others books.
