A vampire finds a woman on the street either protecting herself or he saves her, I can't exactly remember. She was a drug addict if i remember correctly and he takes her in feeds her and cleans her and gives her a job at a spiffy club he owns. One things leans to another and then she goes then to meet his father who happens to be an ungodly powerful super vamp in a really awesome castle and gets brought into the family blood oathed to the guy that saved her.

Addition: Also i think this is the same book not sure but there were two twins that created the world and at one point they angered each other and both cursed the others chosen people while blessing their own making vampires and some other race dunno if it was werewolves or something like that or not but figured id mention it

Some of this mythos sounds like Sherrilyn Kenyon, though the plot details don't match from what I've read of hers. At least the second post does.
