Sorry ... sometimes I'm looking so hard for certain words in the non-task requirements that I don't have an open enough mind to see other possibilities. That's one of the reasons I'd prefer the non-task activities to be optional.

No problem, I should have been more specific. I know it is difficult to try and figure out what someone is thinking when they post a task. If you weren't looking for certain words or phrases, you would go crazy trying to read every word everyone posted. Hopefully the repost sovled the issue and I will try to be more digilent next challenge. :}

Task 30.2A requires "either pass it on, or recommend it to a child (give details when you claim your points)."
Please do not ever do a repost like this one again.
Repost only the task(s) that needs to be fixed.
You are asking us to pick out the corrections from loads of irrelevant data which is a lot of extra work.
Pasting in copies of posts means the books show up without links and without authors which is one of the first things I look for -- a lot of time wasted.

25.5 Share the Summer Love
My current favorite genre is romantic thrillers, so I read Return to Me by Christy Reece. I read it mainly because it is the second in a series, but it was an interesting story about human trafficking of children and it reconnected with familiar characters. I enjoyed it because it was a very fast paced story with a romance worked into the plot.
My other favorite genre (I wouldn't put it as second because they pretty much tie) is detective/mysteries. I read S is for Silence by Sue Grafton, which definitely fit the genre. I was guessing till the end about the murderer, and I really liked how she included memories from other characters.

"25.5 - Helen's Task - Share the Summer Love
Favorite genre: Fantasy: I love reading books that take my to another word and away from mundane life. Tempted by PC Cast does this be taking the reader into a world of myth and magic. The characters go through normal issues that are a part of growing up. At the same time, they have to deal with things that around far beyond everyday life.
2nd fav genre: Historical Romances: I love to read them in the summer when I am out of school. I always say it gives me a chance to read purely for fun. Secrets of a Proper Lady by Victoria Alexander"

Sorry, I linked to the wrong edition. I reposted in message 2524.

My last posting 2480 was not included in the readerboard update. It was for task 30.4, which makes my total 305.
Thanks so much for jumping in to run the challenges. Believe it or not, it brings some much sanity to my busy life, and I appreciate your time here.

Sorry!

So, I'll remove this task from my Ticker and go back to 280 points.
Dlmrose, I'll just move Guernsey back to the Indie award task and watch one of the movies. For the other book, I can either read an Orwell or Wynham book (if I can find one with "man" or "case" on page 31) or move it back to it's original task (who/name).
Sorry to cause you unnecessary work.

My point total is correct. Thanks so much for all of your hard work! My Goodreads authors are actually 9 in total, not 7 that are posted. I went back through my posts and found the ones ommitted.
