Corazon (corazonsliterature) Has anyone read the "Warriors of Poseidon" series from Alyssa Day?

Atlantis Rising (Warriors of Poseidon, #1) by Alyssa Day Atlantis Awakening (Warriors of Poseidon, #2) by Alyssa Day Atlantis Unleashed (Warriors of Poseidon, #3) by Alyssa Day Atlantis Unmasked (Warriors of Poseidon, #4) by Alyssa Day Atlantis Redeemed (Warriors of Poseidon, #5) by Alyssa Day Atlantis Betrayed (Warriors of Poseidon, #6) by Alyssa Day

I think the first three books about the Warriors from Atlantis were really good. But after this the suspense wasn't there anymore also the humor, at least not in this way as in the first books.
At begin the series was quiet good, has much potentiality. But the books didn't hold the promise of an unique story anymore. The books are still readable, but they sound more mainstream now and the unique thing was lost after the 3rd book.

I can recommend them, at least the first three books, though book 4 and 5 are not bad, too. Maybe the new one "Atlantis Betrayed" will be better than the last two and Alyssa will find the way back to the unique story line with action, humor, suspensce and love. It will be released in September.

Jess | 3721 comments I haven't gotten around to starting this series yet. I keep hearing good things and then bad things so it's been pushed down my TBR list frequently.

Darcy (sunnytat462) | 3123 comments I read the first one and a couple of short stories. For me they were ok, but not anything I feel the need to finish the rest of the books.

Dawn (dawnv) | 4058 comments I read her first short story in Shifter I think, the story was ok and I wanted to read her books.

She is actually on my list to read book one for my read-a-thon. I will let you know what I think then.

**As a side note I really hate when authors start out strong and the books go down hill I would rather a book start out weak and then hit their stride.
