If you were stranded on an Island, and could take ONE character out of a book... who would it be and why?

Mine would be James Diaz from 'Cry No More' by Linda Howard. To me, he's the ultimate bad boy, anti-hero. He could keep me safe and warm and I don't think I would ever be board! LOL
I'd still have to go with one of Ms Garwood's hardy highlanders. Brodick would be my first choice. I'd bet he could build me a really cool island home.
My choice would be - Leo, Lord Ramsay from 'Married By Morning' by Lisa Kleypas because:1. He's easy on the eye
2. He has a wicked humour
3. He'd certainly know how to keep me warm at night!!
Darn it! What an evil question! Hm.... I guess I'd have to go with.....St. Vincent from Devil in Winter by Lisa Kleypas. If I could only take one guy!
Jonas Wyatt from Lora Leigh's Breed series because he can shift into a lion and that has to be a good thing stranded on an island.
Sayid from lost has all the skills, that's who my daughter Bekah just mentioned. I want a guy with some kind of Eagle Scout skills who doesn't have Sayid's evil side. Rhage would take great care of me.
Sayid turns evil in Lost? I didn't know that, granted I lost interest after season 2, but he was my second fave guy after Sawyer!Just one guy? Can't we have one per day of the week? If I could only chose one, I am going for...Curran from the Kate Daniels series, not only is he hot, but as would probably pretty good at all the survival stuff I reckon

Zsadist from Blackdagger Brotherhood He's my Favorite brotherand I think he would make it very interesting to be stranded.
You would have to have a very shady island if you took a vampire though, maybe with some hidden caves otherwise they would go crispy on the first day!

John Matthew.... Dang it another vampire well, My island has caves then...
Or a vampire that can walk in the daylight. I can't think of any off the top of my head. Can the vamps in Immortals After Dark by Kresley Cole go in sunlight? I have forgotten

Sure, that's why it's FICTION.
Suzanne wrote: "What you mean the brothers aren't real?"They're as real as a lot of stuff floating around in our heads. How real do they need to be?
Well, I was hoping for a knock on the door, and voila Wrath there come to claim me, ahwell, good job I have an imagination : )

I like the outside Sam. If I was to read Sam out of a book, Alyssa would have to be asleep. I mean a deep sleep and she can't escape the book either.

Thats how I feel about Bella. She has to be in a deep sleep too.So Zsadist and I can be together.. hehe ;)

Hmmm currently it would probably be Gregori... Dark Magic was it? If you asked me before, as someone else already mentioned it would be one of the Highlander's from a Garwood book.

I think Gregori was much too old-world and controlling in his thinking... many of the later Carpathians were better. Plus, there's that whole need to find a cave thing.
Mollie wrote: Plus, there's that whole need to find a cave thing."LOL!!!!!! Many of her character's were old-world, I'll give you that - but I think for me that was part of the appeal. Its completely different from what I have in real life! LOL
I like the old world feel to the Carpathians. Since they are all really old, it actually makes sense how they are backwards about woman's rights, compared to a modern hero who's like that.
That's very true about the Carpathians, but also I can't blame them for being so possesive, without them they would literally lose their soul eventually.
Jaime Fraiser bcs he would totally know how to get us the hell off the island...not that I wouldn't want to stay there forever, but still, it'd be nice to have the option.
Oh Julie you haven't read the Night Huntress series! You shoudl definately give it a shot. The books are (so far):
It is aout half vamp Cat, and how she meets Bones a full vamp and basically what happens to them. It is really good, funny, sexy and full of action. And you are likely get Bones fever when you start reading as as Cat says: "You know that old saying. Once you go dead, no one's better in bed" lol
Lol Susanne :) I definitly think I'll give it a shot, it sounds really interesting, but I've spent way too much money on books this month :D
lol I do that all the time as well, it is just so easy to do : ) Well when you get a chance you should definately look them up
