What are you reading right now?
I finished Elyon by Ted Dekker and now on to Showdown by the same. Also, still reading Winter Moon by Dean Koontz and it's really getting good.
Kyle wrote "I'll be starting Kane & Abel soon."I just finished the trilogy last week & thought i will give you a heads up that except the first book(Kane & Abel) the other two are pretty disappointing & even that book ain't as good as i expected it to be.Hope you enjoy them.

Kane and Abel soon. I've been wanting to read this epic novel since I was a teen."Wow I read that book years ago and absolutely loved it! I hope you do as well, I can't remember the other two.

Awesome! It's a great, almost surreal feeling, isn't it?
Way back to Divergent and We Need To Talk About Kevin: AHHH!!!! SO. GOOD. Kyle - did the "Kevin" movie have a twist at the end?

The way you describe reminds me of 11/22/63, which I cannot recommend to you highly enough, brother.

Aw, you just totally made my day! I cannot wait for the day that you start it. The opening sentence will reel you in immediately, IMO!
Really - in your top 5 Dustin?! It has pretty much been on the bottom of my list of King books to be read, but I may need to re-think that!
Kyle ~Special K: Rebel Leader~ wrote: "Just started reading
Kane and Abel"I absolutely loved this book.
I've heard a lot of good things about 112263. I started it but haven't picked it back up. I don't know...it just seemed more like a general SF novel than a horror novel, as if King were trying to branch out.
Just finished PINES by Blake Couch, had never heard of the author before only picked up the book as the synopsis seemed interesting but turned out to be much better than i anticipated.
Michelle wrote: "Really - in your top 5 Dustin?! It has pretty much been on the bottom of my list of King books to be read, but I may need to re-think that!"Oh yes, without a doubt, Michelle.:) Do yourself a favor and move it up to the top of your "to-read" shelf.

There's a lot of stuff that is totally ignored by the mainstream but really deserving of praise. Just finished The Magpies by Mark Edwards and Bunker by J M Rawbone and really loved them both. Bunker in particular was reminiscent of SK; the prose style really reminded me of Salem's Lot

Thanks Kyle.

I'm pretty involved with the characters and would very much like to see what happens to them :). I'd say give it a shot for a few more chapters and see where you're at.
I've almost finished Bunker by J M rawbone. Reads a lot like a early Stephen King; puts me in mind of Salem's Lot and The Stand. Never heard of this guy befor ebut he's good.
I finished Monster Hunter Vendetta. It was non-stop action. Now I'm going to continue with Monster Hunter Alpha.

That's great, Zoran! I really want to read it someday, myself.:)
I finished The Help at approx. 2:30 this morning. Now onto bigger, better things.. like The Girl Who Played with Fire!!!
Dustin wrote: "I finished The Help at approx. 2:30 this morning. The Great and Secret Show"
That's one that's been sitting on my shelf forever (along with Everville). Been meaning to get around to it at some point...
