What are you reading right now?
Good morning everyone. Still reading Dark House by Karina Halle. The story isn't moving fast enough for me.
Kyle ~Special K: Rebel Leader~ wrote: "Rose Madder is an excellent book. Glad you're enjoying it so far, Jacob!"Cheers, got a bit more read today still only a third into it. Kinda wishing I'd read more instead of trying Life of Pi!
V for Vendetta by Steve Moore is quite good so far. The movie is better tho, I think, in this case. Mostly cus I can't read the book without seeing the movie in my head!
Linda wrote: "I actually got a little ibito furthur in my book. Very disappointed."Darkhouse is disappointing, Linda?
Kyle ~Special K: Rebel Leader~ wrote: "Daniel wrote: "I'm about 60 pages into "The Omen". I never saw the movie, but so far the book is pretty good."Daniel,
The Omen is a great book. The 1976 movie is also great."
I really want to read it, Kyle. And watch the film afterward, or course.

A modern day Classic, for sure! I'm glad you enjoyed both films. I could never watch the remake, personally, but that's just me.
Finally finished
by Karina Halle. I didn't like this book. The story was too bland. Now reading
by Gillian Flynn.

If it were simply the case an occasion one or two, that'd be fine, but it's like Hollywood refuses to come up with anything original these days! And there are original ideas out there.
Yes, I love a good independent film! Said film makers are incredibly creative and usually aren't afraid to go against the norm (I love that!)

Well you know what they say about great minds..:)
I'm at a loss; I have no idea what to read next. I have buddy reads lined up, but no one has gotten back to me yet. *sigh*

You don't feel bad either, Dustin!!!!!Just got a buddy read lined up for Saturday. It's all good guys! :-D
You're welcome. Me too. I haven't read Dickens yet, but I'm really looking forward to it. I have A Tale of Two Cities lined up as well. Can't wait!!
Years ago, I tried A Tale Of Two Cities, but could not finish it. I will someday, though! Along with David Copperfield, which I also couldn't get through.
