Well you've got my attention.:)
Earlier I finished reading
by Mary Shelley. This novel turned out to be nothing like what I was expecting. I was expecting a generic horror story about a monster but what I got was so much more complex, it's actually quite a philosophical story really. I was extremely surprised and impressed by the actual story itself. I really enjoyed this book and I'm happy I finally got around to reading this classic. My full review is here. I'm planning to read
by Janet Evanovich next.
I am reading a Young Adult Horror reminiscent of Pike and R.L. Stine called " The Window " by Carol Ellis and I am liking it so farhttp://www.amazon.com/Window-Ellis-pu...

Hehe. We are pretty fast. Although Janie is a bit faster than me at times.

So far I like it. Its nothing like HP. It is a very realistic, controversial read for mature readers.

What do you think about it? Many people do not like this book.

I like it. The characters are well written and I keep wanting to see who is going to mess around with who's life next. It is dark and definitely mature reading, yet I find it quite entertaining and kind of soapy. If that makes sense.
I am anxious to see how she wraps it up...I hope she does.

How far along are you? I'm just getting into the characters. And they are a trip

Ha ha! Yes, they are very trippy.
I'm on pg 372 and will probably finish tonight. I did have some difficulty keeping all the characters straight in the beginning (I tend to like books with fewer characters) and there is a lot going on but the story really gets rolling in part two.

I'm waiting for the library to get a hold of a copy of The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Waoand was considering starting on Tom Wolfe's new one but having just finished Everything's Eventual and still finding myself riding the Halloween High I've decided on giving Fragile Thingsa go.

That series is really good, Victor. I hope you pick it up soon. I really enjoyed it, and think JKR did a great job for a first time author..
I always want to read and reread those books, Alondra. I just have to be careful because when I start one I stay up until about one AM reading. When I was reading book four I stayed up to late and my Mom said she didn't want me going to school like that so I read about 300 pages that day and finished it off:D

You are welcome!:)
I finished reading
by Janet Evanovich this morning. Stephanie's adventures still make me laugh after 11 novels. There are so many hilarious and witty scenes in this book. But I have to admit I was a bit annoyed by Stephanie in this book. I just wish she'd finally choose between Joe Morelli and Ranger! http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...Now I'm reading
by Kate Morton.
