Heather Bree (blackdotbug) I LOVE this series! It's beautifully drawn, complex and heartfelt. These are the bravest mice I've ever had the pleasure of reading about. There is some violence in the series, but it seems to me to be the kind of thing you'd see on a nature show. The lessons learned about individuality, community and sacrifice and well worth it.

I've read Mouse Guard Volume One: Fall 1152 and Mouse Guard Volume 2: Winter 1152. I'm looking forward to more.

Kristen Harvey | 1046 comments I finally read Mouse Guard Volume 2: Winter 1152 and really enjoyed it! It's not terribly graphic - not sure I'd put it in my elementary school but definitely think like 5th grade and up would enjoy these.
