message 210: by Cosmic Sher (new)

Cosmic Sher (sherart) | 2234 comments If my unique perspective & interpretation of the universe is the only reality that I will ever know, then this universe is unique to me and no one else. This should mean that I am ultimately in control of my own universe, and I should be able to change the laws of physics to enable my own brand of creativity.

Then why in the heck can't I make chocolate cake & bacon cheeseburgers good for my health, make the sun shine on rainy days, or find any of the lost socks from the laundry? Just wondering.

Pat (patb37) Mary wrote: "I need to learn Italian so I can sing opera in the shower."
I have always preferred operas in languages I cannot understand. Its masks how truly ridiculous most of the stories are.

message 216: by Brittomart (new)

Brittomart He needs some discipline.

Britt wrote: "My mom is praising the Lord rather loudly... "
Is she really praising the Lord or swearing a mouthful of obsenities in His name? That's what I usually do.

I dreamt I was "Conversation Girl" on Craig Ferguson last night and got to chat with Julie Andrews. Not sure what that one means.... :|

Kristi (kristicasey) Gail "cyborg" wrote: "What is lumpy cream of wheat?"

Lumpy cream of wheat is an acquired taste, and some will never acquire the taste for it. It's when you don't mix the cream of wheat well enough while making it. So you get some lumps, some soupy stuff...I absolutely love it! But I've been labeled as wacky...so...

Kristi (kristicasey) Larry wrote: "Lumpy cream of wheat:

Now Larry you have to admit that's just a bit bumpy. If you make the cream of wheat in the microwave (pour in cereal and milk, nuke for 3 minutes, then stir in a bit more milk and brown sugar) you will have truly, truly lumpy.

message 237: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) It's true. It was the best picture I could find.

message 238: by [deleted user] (new)

Lumpy cream of wheat doesn’t look appetising. It looks like something you would feed a baby (minus the lumps).

message 239: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) I like the texture for some odd reason.

message 240: by Brittomart (new)

Brittomart Gasp! Is Larry a baby?
