I can't even state what page I am on for Mr. Perfect by Linda Howard. It's asking me what percent of the book I am on. That's weird.

I've had that also, sometimes I can and sometimes I cannot. Weird is right.

I guess it's a glitch.

Auntee | 74 comments You can switch it over to pages by doing a few things: first click on 'update status', then when it says "I'm ___% done, click on the percentage sign (%) and it will change it to pages.:)

Ally | 75 comments I just pressed refresh a couple of times and it fixes it's self but it's sooo annoying!

Thanks, Auntee, I'll keep that in mind.

Thanks for sharing that information Auntee. It worked. I hope that it stays and don't go back to asking me the percentage.

CaliGirlRae (rae_l) | 279 comments Chiming in to say thanks also for the help, Auntee. I wasn't sure how to get pages either. Although I'm glad they implemented the percentage because sometimes I'm listening to audio or reading on ebook and I can't keep track of page numbers there. So this works out both ways! :-D

Cindi (ourtrumpcard) | 381 comments OK, solve this one please, Auntee. When I'm finished and rating, it USE to automatically change to "read" when I posted my stars. Now I have to physically change to "read". What's up with that?

message 11: by Auntee (new)

Auntee | 74 comments Ooh, hadn't noticed that!:( You mean it still lists it as "currently-reading" after you posted the star rating?

Cindi, I could be wrong, but maybe Goodreads changed the automatic change from currently reading to reading, when a person rate a book. If they did, I can think of a reason why. It's easy to make a mistake and rate a book. I have came close to rating books on my shelves by mistake. I can be trying to assign shelves to a book and come close to the stars.

I had actually made a mistake and rate a book that I was currently reading and my book status changed to read and I haven't even finished the book till this day. I have tried to remove the rating by running the arrow left, but that doesn't work.

I didn't want to delete the book and add it again, so I left it.

I've noticed that on the update status box it has "I'm finished", which I have used on the last book that I have read. It changed my book from currently reading to read.

CaliGirlRae (rae_l) | 279 comments I thought it still lists it as 'currently-reading' because before, after I starred and gave a review, they both disappeared until I switched back to 'read'. With the new upgrade it looks like you can have a rating and review and choose to either list the book as 'read' or 'currently reading'.

Or maybe it depends on the system because it looks like it changed for Arch. Not sure what's up there.

Cindi (ourtrumpcard) | 381 comments Probably just new changes that need a few tweeks yet. Still is much better than me tracking things "grocery list" style!!!
